I can’t vote for politicians that deny Assange and free speech…what ever it’s called, it is not democracy.

How nice of Amy Goodman to finally come to the defense of Assange, after she spent years legitimizing the Russiagate nonsense used to destroy his reputation.

John Shipton was a definite standout of a highly articulate panel. He is a most profoundly thoughtful humane being.
IMO he has the unique gift of an ability to reach, and speak truth to power, without having to resort to the low of contemptuousness.
The support shown by the audience was magnificent too.

The hypocrisy generated by the British, American and Swedish governments is horrifying. When I look back in current history of all that these 3 governments have done, and how they have all deleted RIGHTS to so many—it is horrifying to see how many in government denigrate the work of Julian Assange. That goes for you too, Biden—a man who could stop this debacle in Julian Assange’s life- WHY WON’T YOU , BIDEN??????????

Absolutely brilliant presentation. Thankyou Progressive International, Democracy Now and Consortium News. And all the wonderful speakers on the panel. But it was John Shipton who “stole the show” for me. His contempt for the British, American and Swedish governments was palpable. For that is all they are worthy of – contempt.
