Send Nina Jankowicz a Message: Donate to the ‘Useful Idiots’

The former head of the Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board thinks Consortium News is a bunch of “useful idiots.” Show her what you think of this 27-year old, independent news site.

Nina Jankowicz. (U.S. Embassy Vienna/Wikimedia Commons)

According to emails leaked to The GrayZone, Nina Jankowicz, the short-lived head of the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board, thinks Consortium News isn’t funded by a foreign power, but instead are “useful idiots.”  At least she got one half of that right: we are totally funded by our readers.

But Jankowicz should ask herself who the true useful idiot is.

She and her cohorts in this new cottage industry of private disinformation warriors are themselves purveyors of disinformation fed to them by governments that want to enforce a single narrative and crush dissenting views. It’s not enough for them to just disagree with us. You’ll also be sending a message to PayPal, who permanently suspended us, and NewsGuard, who is “reviewing” us.

Don’t let them win.

    This article caught my attention:
“The official parliamentary disclosures of the Counter Disinformation and Media Development’s (CDMD) existence were triggered by the 2018 leak of incriminating files related to Integrity Initiative, a cloak-and-dagger Foreign Office information warfare operation staffed by former military and intelligence professionals.
… files showed Integrity Initiative maintained clandestine “clusters” throughout Europe and North America, covert networks of journalists, academics, pundits, politicians and security officials, through which ceaseless black propaganda about enemy states such as China and Russia, and individuals including then-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, could be spread with damaging real-world effects.
The organization and individuals connected to the Integrity Initiative were overly fond of the phrase “useful idiots,” liberally applying the Cold War sobriquet to anyone attracting their Foreign Office-funded ire. ”

Everywhere in the world the reaction for telling the truth is denigration, insults, and if you describe exactly the core of corruption, they spread the voice that you are mad and need to be locked up.
In Italy happens just the same. The truth is universal and has no color, but it is trasparent.

At least we’re useful. Jankowicz and her ilk are just idiots.

      And not particularly ‘useful’ either.

I wrote a quick piece on the current push to prevent all contrary views from circulating. It was always bad in the US, but it has gotten so much worse under the Biden administration. Sometimes I wonder if Joe is relaxing at home while Blinken and company are running the show. The blundering incompetence and tone deafness of the Biden administration are astounding.

Orwellian? I surmised disinformation governance was to be just across the hall from civilian morale management. What’s the diff? Maybe French mid-term elections will chart a new course. Steering the bull by the horns is better than nothing. Chinese news was appreciative of the new coalition in France.

Ah, “A thing of beauty is a joy forever.”

This is great stuff. Trump supporters gave Trump Inc. $250 million for a defense fund that did not ever exist. A plea for donations that went out January 6, 2021 an hour or so before the riot at congress.

Straight up fraud of his supporters. One quarter of a billion $$$s. Apparently useful idiots blindly supporting one of histories most useless asshole idiots ever to grace a TV screen.

In my humble opinion, Nina Jankowicz outed herself as useful idiot who willing showed us her fascist tendencies. Nothing like a black and tan fascist showing her true “boot licking” colors!

Some people are willing to do anything for a fast buck!

    Thanks CN

Henry! The line comes from the darker side of the humor spectrum.

Something to the affect of . . . “now that we know what you are for sale the only thing left is to haggle about a fair price.”

Selling ones soul seems to be commonly accepted by the political world these days.

Nina Jankowicz is a useless idiot.
I wouldn’t piss on her if her heart were on fire.

Robert Parry and Joe Lauria are saints—even though God doesn’t exist.
