Consortium News relies entirely on our loyal readers to continue this project in independent journalism begun by Robert Parry in 1995. Our 26th year, like our first, is made possible only by the generosity of our readers.
Our annual budget is about $250,000, or a little more than $20,000 a month, which we must raise in four fund drives per year. Our biggest new expense has been our webcast CN Live! If we exceed this amount we would add an experienced Washington correspondent and writers from other parts of the world.

Man oh man, and women oh ladies, I already sent some funds in, but this place is special, so I’ll send some more. I hope others out there who read the news here consider the value of getting the facts from a wide set of views. It has become increasingly difficult nowadays and that is why this place is special.
