We always knew elements of the Establishment didn’t like Consortium News. But now there are moves against us.
It is one thing for powerful people to disagree with Consortium News. But it is another thing for them to actively try to undermine our work.
That’s what PayPal did earlier this month when they permanently banned us, meaning our generous donors could no longer support us through its convenient system of transferring money. PayPal never told us why they did it. But their Restricted Activities includes providing false or misleading information.
As information is the only thing we trade in, it is a logical conclusion that PayPal is punishing us because they don’t like what we publish. But our readers and viewers can send PayPal a powerful message by showing we really don’t need them.

Is it possible to donate by mailing a cheque from a European bank?
I mailed you a check several days ago, as I won’t use Pay Pal anymore. Shame on them, and the pro-corporate media presstitues who seem to cherish censorship and a violation of the First Amendment to the U.S Constitution and to the political pawns in Congress which big business and the oligarchs who rule the US use to pass Laws and Regulations benefiting themselves rather than “We the People.”

I’ve donated of late and will continue to as long as I’m capable. I left a post tonight at Mr. Walsh’s offering about the NY Times, to be screened. That said I think he is spreading propaganda himself. Inaccurate or not it is free speech but he should know better.
Actual history is important in that it represents the reality of events or should. We have drifted far from history being the truth and it’s killing us all!
As the moderator might notice my rhetoric has become somewhat more heated and forceful. Get used to it. Those opinions are mine and every bit as valid as what Mr. Walsh wrote there. It’s that free speech thing.
