Thanks for the effort and explanation, Joe and Consortium News.

So what happens to Julian Assange if or as this case ‘goes on for years’?

By the way, although generally fine, the audio in the video is a little loud and distracting, both while Joe is talking and in between.

That was interesting and well told, but please! next time don’t have that very annoying music in the background!!! The only reason I could watch the whole thing was because you had subtitles, so I could turn down the volume and not have to listen to this awful repetitive music. Thank you for the subtitles! And Please PLEASE don’t have background music screwing up a perfectly good video report again!

The fact that the “biography” of Assange, a scurrilous document full of the same sort of lies found in David Leigh and Luke Harding’s articles and books on the Skripals and Russiagate, was quoted and accepted in this kangaroo court case is another piece of evidence that the decision to be announced on Jan. 4, 2021 was made before this cruel farce even began. The cruelty and dishonesty of the US administration show the depths they are prepared to sink to in order to stop any criticism of their war crimes.

This is a good summation. But please, please, delete the music track.

If (when) there is a verdict to not extradite wouldn’t that make an appeal by prosecution Double Jeopardy?

No, because the British court’s decision is not an acquittal of the charges, simply a decision whether or not to extradite Assange to the US to stand trial on the charges that would determine his guilt or innocence.
