Each of the 1.2 million people who have been forced from their homes and have become refugees is an individual human being. They all had lives before this calamity. In many cases, their homes and all they possess have been destroyed. We met up with some of them, so they can tell you their stories.

And Returned to Dahiya

Residents Return to Dahiya in Beirut

Another excellent and important article, Craig! It show how difficult life has become for everyone still under the capricious domination and threats of the IDF in Beirut and Lebanon more broadly. The story of non-dramatic, but still continually discomfiting and distressing, quotidian suffering has been largely neglected by the thoroughly complicit corporate-owned MSM throughout the West

    Wrong and Correct, as follows.

Hezbollah was a part of the cease-fire negotiations. The Speaker of the Lebanese legislature was involved. Hezbollah is perhaps the most popular political party in Lebanon, and Hezbollah holds the highest number of seats in the Lebanese legislature. Thus, Hezbollah had said early on that Speaker (Berri, iirc) was representing their voice in the negotiations. The Speaker holds his post with Hezbollah’s democratically elected representatives supporting him.

In America, this is probably obscured, as the American media only refers to Hezbollah as ‘terrorists’, and the fact that they get more votes than other parties in elections can’t be mentioned. Thus, the connection between Hezbollah holding the most seats in the legislature and the Speaker of that legislature being Hezbollah’s voice in the negotiations is missed in Yankee-land.

Israel is of course already violating the ceasefire. They’ve violated the last cease-fire and UNSC resolution 1701 on a regular basis for years. Every time they violate Lebanese airspace with a drone or attack plane, they are in violation. Of course, a man-bites-dog headline would concern Israel actually honoring a UN resolution, court judgement, or cease-fire agreement.

I don’t think Hezbollah was part of the ceasefire negotiations.

And Israel has already violated the agreement.

Why does Israel have to stay in Lebanon for 60 days?

Israel claims to be ‘the chosen people’.
American claims to be ‘the exceptional people’.
Both groups feel that this gives them a ‘right’ to do “disturbing shit all over the planet.”
It ends when both groups understand that they are just like all the other human beings.

Unfortunately some are NOT like other humans. They refuse to share, they blame, they destroy. This Zionist mentality is NOT Judaism or any religious feeling.

Both videos are moving, real, informative portraits of life in the areas under attack. The second is right up to date showing people returning home, jubilant, following the “cease-fire” if that’s what it is. There are no signs of military, present or past. The preposterous excuses of maniacs that the resistance fighters are being shielded and hidden is shown to be ridiculous in the presentation of these ordinary people, including women and kids, who are trying to survive. The shame that the US could support a fanatical Israel is immense and inexplicable. Lunacy.

Many thanks to Craig Murray and CN for these reports. This is the human real side vs. the concocted false defense-against-terrorists side of this catastrophe.
