Assange is being persecuted for embarrassing the empire by exposing war crimes. ……The empire wants its show trial, period. Without it, the full example of what can happen to journos worldwide will not have been made.
This case shoulda’ been thrown out years ago., Assange’s rights have been violated every step of the way. From the illegal spying of all Assange’s jail visits/correspondence by a Spanish security co. —–to—– the Icelandic pedo who lied about ‘hacking” for Assange in order to gain a reduced sentence——to——-the blaring conflict of interests by the British judge (Baraister?). …..and MORE.
The whole premise of Assange’s arrest in BS!! ……. it is NOT illegal to publish material – classified, or otherwise – that was leaked to you. ….it IS illegal to publish classified material YOU. yourself stole or solicited…….. I’d guess most folks don’t know that. ……. laws to ‘correct” that will be up for parliamentary action soon in England. ….eventually, it’ll come to pass in the US, too.
In the US, both factions of the D/R dictatorship want to persecute Assange, the law be damned. Fat Mike Pompeo (CIA Mafia Boss for the Trump regime) wanted to put out a hit on Assange. HRC wanted him murdered as well, if I recall. The Biden regime continues the same bipartisan policies. So, it doesn’t matter who we “vote” for in the US, policy remains the same. Voter preferences have no bearing on policy.
In the UK, the major parties will do nothing to stop the abuse of power and abuse of the law in extraditing Julian Assange. The case of Juian Assange has exposed the deep-seated institutional corruption of the US and UK legal/political systems. We must collectively demand justice, not expect an election to change anything.
I find it impossible to vote for, or support Biden and Garland’s DoJ unless they DROP this case against Assange.
You should find it impossible to vote for them because they are imperialist war criminals out for Julian’s blood because he revealed their criminality. Are you seriously saying that, apart from Julian Assange, you would vote for these monsters?
