I got a call the other day from someone who has been telling his friends about Consortium News. “Everybody is calling me,” he said. “The articles you are publishing are blowing their minds.”

Former CIA Director William Casey said, “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.” We are fighting Casey’s program everyday in the pages of this journal.

Deborah Hrbek’s speech in this is so good and I think worthy of CN’s pages as a stirring call to all as to what’s at stake next week.
Max did a most excellent job as usual, but never having heard of Ms Hrbek myself, I found myself listening to her words again and again. Please give it a listen and see if you don’t agree beginning @ 1:23:45. I already suggested on the EeewTube page that a transcript would be most welcome.
Mr. Lauria I’m hear to let you know that my mind has been officially blown. Mr. Lawrence’s piece on the fraud that the ICIJ is has done it.
Did CIA infiltrate the organization? What gives.
I have wondered why this story has been left smoldering in the shadows when the scope of the crimes involved is of very large.
I never commented on the story because, well, I was sort of speechless.
At this point the only thing I can say is that Lawrence take may explain every thing if all the facts come to light.
After following the BCCI scandal and learning of CIA’s likely involvement the thing that still stands out is the connections to the “Safari Club” and the personnel belief that 41 set the wheel in motion so many years ago.
That no Americans were being outed seemed CIA-ish to me. But tons of more questions need to be answered.
Especially those concerning the Inslaw – PROMIS scandal.
I was so hoping that finally a group had come to address CIA and others involvement in illegal off shore banking.
Meanwhile fear was creeping in, no Americans being involved was a flag.
Keep up the great work while I recover!
