My hearing and tv sound system make it impossible to understand Sami. What little I heard is merely repeating what has been said before, He speaks of Palestinian rights which have been denied, He is hopeful the world will wake to the terrible injustice, particularly to awake America. That is all true and essential.

But the way that can happen is the critical issue. Most important is for the United States and Europe to abandon the two state solution, this cynical enterprise and begin to talk about equal rights of all citizens now living in lands occupied by the Palestinians as well as land occupied by the Jews. Nothing is more important than liberty and justice for all, and for all the world to stand behind this aspiration.

There was a time over eighty years ago when the British, under the Mandate system, supported such an enterprise but events and fierce and powerful opposition resulted in the United Nations proposal to partition the country and make Jerusalem and international city.

What happened to such a proposal and others is a history of failure and now any talk of partitioning as a solution seems to come from those who do not want or choose to face their historic failures.

When I read the title, “Ending the Apartheid State”, I thought, hmm… One-State, two-state, treaties, embargoes…?

Of course, the answer given here is much more simple (and yet, seeming so heart-brokenly impossible): Stop funding them!

Israel’s actions today, in 2021, toward Arab Palestinians, going back for at least the last 53-plus years is identical to the attitude of those who claimed, and still do, that the Holocaust never happened.
What this behavior proves is that the duplicitous nature of inhumanity is a universal trait in man; practiced by those who have wielded the power throughout history!
It also proves that natural evolution has nothing, necessarily, to do with progressive civilization.
What the world is yet again witnessing is unconstrained insanity, yet its reaction seems is no more perturbed than it ever was.
Tragically, it appears, the reactions today, are no more worth the paper they were written on, in years past!

YouTube apparently hate RT because this same On Contact episode is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COgKmiK-n-Q

This channel is called “Reflection of Passion” and for whatever reason, the interview with al-Arian is available in full here.

YouTube appears to be censoring this On Contact episode and is not offering any explanation. The On Contact page claims the video is “private” but does not include any description of its content, let alone reasons for removal.

Silicon Valley monopolies are so American, so authoritarian with a smile.

I think there are some dock workers (“dockers”) in Italy who have chosen to take a stand for peace. The article was dated the 14th, so I’m surprised I just read about it today, but I’m glad nonetheless.

This gives me hope for the future.

It is from a site called “Left Voice” —- it is an “.org”. Simple as that to find the link.

Think about it. Port Workers really have power over the transport of goods.
