Consortium News at Year-End

A partisan may be confused by Consortium News. It may seem that we support one side one day, and another the next.

As Consortium News is a non-profit organization we depend on our readers to support our strenuously non-partisan analysis of events in a hyper-partisan age.

A partisan may be confused by Consortium News. It may seem that we support one side one day, and another the next.  In fact, we don’t support any side. It’s how the facts play out that matters.

There is no shortage of deception, corruption and abuse on all sides for our writers to uncover and explain to our readers. “The fact is that a man [or woman] who wants to act virtuously in every way necessarily comes to grief among so many who are not virtuous,” wrote Niccolo Machiavelli.

Rather than follow his playbook, as so many in politics and the media do, we are trying to provide some relief for that grief, and to let our readers know they are not alone in trying to survive in violent and corrupt times.

Because we are a non-partisan, non-profit, you can write off your contribution to our Year-End Fund Drive.  If you appreciate our brand of rapidly disappearing journalism and wish to see it survive and strengthened, please make a tax-deductible contribution in this season of remembering our better natures.

It is a pity but the idea of reporting only facts is sorely missed and lost by both sides of Americas “Partisan Travesty ” that the current two party system has become. Americans seem to see no purpose in knowing the truth because they are spoiled rotten.

I think we all need to dig deep when retrieve our dollars to donate to this site. We dare not loose it to debt.

The release of the material by the Washington Post revealing high crimes etc. by the guys who failed to plan the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Jumped in over their heads against the experts advice, all duly noted and ignored.

Don’t you all think it’s time to hold these idiots responsible for the death and debt they have created for our children to live with?

And I’ll say it again the dogdamned CIA got in bed with these greedy monsters who pretend to be human.

Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and a totally compromised Barrack Obama who was far too naive to be president. I really don’t think he thought he was jumping in for his turn in the barrel but the Sorrows of Empire are such that someone is always on the hook.

    My DOG what a mess.

I really appreciate the long discussions about important world events that we need to know about – no MSM ever dedicates the time required to carefully consider such issues. Neither can we rely on the MSM to present an unbiased view. I can’t add to my donations this end of the year guys, but I will continue to make my small monthly donation.

Consortium News falls mostly on the side of the virtuous and a discerning readership appreciates their contribution as exponents of the truth and as a vehicle to expose egregious crimes. T.G the spirit of Robert Parry lives on in this publication, for which we can all be thankful.

This is the best part about this website. It is open to all ideas. It does not just parrot the corporate media. Sometimes I agree, sometimes I don’t but I always learn something

I nearly always agree. Maybe that is the reason I are being a bit confused
