Consortium News is Back Online After Five Days

The website is once again able to publish new material after five days of being locked out of the back end of its site.

We apologize to our readers and our contributors for having been unable to publish new articles since access to back stage at our site was denied us for five days. It has now been fixed and it does not appear to have been a malicious hack as back in July.  We have a backlog of important articles that we will begin to roll out. And please watch Episode 8 of CN Live! tonight at 8 pm EDT.

I wonder whether this isn’t why I couldn’t get any of my comments posted here. I emailed CN about it and haven’t received a reply. Perhaps they’ve been busy fixing the problem. Let’s see, because this is my test.

For Christo Meyer FYI. ? My last comment here , Sept. 7 2o19 A 13:38 I left a link for Whitney Webb’s latest offering which is dated Sept. 6, 2019.

Geeze what’s up fellas. Is John Wilson is bum doping us or something. I just checked and their last story is dated Sept 6, 2019.

Has anyone seen that damned Trump’s Sharpie anointed Hurricane Map!

FOR AnneR You are on the money. If google is successful in there efforts to manage all the news we get we are in Hitlers Russia.

No. I meant exactly what I wrote. Now to help make my point you all, everyone needs to go over to Mint Press, although I.m pretty sure Consortium News will cover Webb’s story there, and read this.

I tried to watch Episode 8 last night on the you tube, I may have missed something or didn’t do something WTFE but I never got it to load. So I’m suspecting that something else was afoot there. Especially after reading Webb’s article.

I fear it’s getting late in the development of the media news fiasco that seems to be building! As if things weren’t bad enough already.

Great news ! But after reading Whitney’s last installment over at Mint Press I think we know what is going on. If you were not being effective no one would care.

    It’s a backdoor thing I guess.

I’ve noticed that Mint Press News has also not released any new stories during this past week. Does anyone have any idea why this is the case?

9/11, Drug Money, Oil Resources and the Invasion of Afghanistan: Michael Ruppert Refutes the Official 9/11 Story
By Michael Welch and Michael Ruppert, September 05, 2019

The 9/11 attacks, America’s imperial conquest of oil resources, and the role of drug money, including the proceeds of Afghanistan’s illicit opium trade, in financing the global economy.

Examining 9/11 and America’s “War on Terrorism”
By Prof Michel Chossudovsky, September 06, 2019

At 11 o’clock, on the morning of 9/11, the Bush administration had already announced that Al Qaeda was responsible for the attacks. That same evening at 9:30 pm, a “War Cabinet” was formed. And at 11:00 pm, at the end of that historic meeting at the White House, the “War on Terrorism” was officially launched.

Venezuela, Ukraine, Hong Kong, … : Color Revolutions and Regime Change, A Modern Scourge Spawning Economic Destabilization and Civil War
By Carla Stea, September 02, 2019

What we are witnessing is the creation of toxic opposition movements whose goal is the destabilization and destruction of progressive governments. These abhorrent “color revolutions” bear resemblance to the ravages of Attilla the Hun.

Is the Fed Preparing to Topple the US Dollar?
    By F. William Engdahl, September 02, 2019

Unusual remarks and actions by the outgoing head of the Bank of England and other central banking insiders strongly suggest that there is a very ugly scenario in the works to end the role of the US dollar as world reserve currency. In the process, this would involve that the Fed deliberately triggers a dramatic economic depression.

It is good to see you back online. Definitely a worry – given the multitudinous efforts by our corporate-politico-MICC masters to prevent our having access to real news and the full picture at that.

Even more so in light of an item broadcast this am on the BBC World Service: they are joining with Google, FB, Twitter et al (i.e. the above blob) to prevent “fake news, disinformation.” And then the newsreader went on to tell about the Adrian Darya’s being two nautical miles from Syria – “in breach of EU sanctions.” Never has the BBC mentioned, whenever they have reported on anything to do with the Adrian Darya business, the fact that non-EU countries do *not* have to abide by EU rules. If that doesn’t come under disinformation, I don’t know what does.

Then there is the all but total absence, darkness on the BBC World Service and NPR about the continuing Gilets Jaunes protests and the dreadful injuries that the French police have caused many protestors. Meanwhile, all but non-stop breathless accounts (likely exaggerated numbers protesting) about the HK riots/protests and the violence of the protestors is always played down. And the HK police, by comparison with the French have been restrained: no kettling, no stun grenades used…

And absolute silence reigns regarding Julian Assange and his treatment at the hands of the UK (and doubtless US) authorities. But we get to hear about those dastardly Russians, Chinese, Iranians etc etc… and what they – purportedly – do to their political prisoners.

While our MSM produces Orwellian dis and mis information, they are collaborating with the MICC on both sides of the Atlantic to prevent the whole and true news from ever being available to us, the bewildered herd…

Sadly, if it wasn’t hacked, it must have been due to only one thing. Having been hacked would have been considerably better.

Eventually CN will be gone for good like many other great alternative media sites such as the The purge by the big on line platforms against alternative news continues at a pace.

    September 6, 2019

This means Consortium is doing a lot good. The censors are hitting them because out overseers do not want us to access this information.
