Let’s remember Ciaron O’Reilly who has physically kept vigil outside the embassy where Julian is imprisoned going on 8 years now. Ciaron is into three weeks of a 24/7 presence on the street there and is fearful that Julian will be killed when taken out of the embassy. This has happened to others recently “extracted” from safe haven. Totalitarianism is fully upon us.

I watched this week Vigil Panel and applaud all the folks for participating. Unlike yourselves I’m not in the National nor the International stage. Just an every day Joe who has been awake for many years of the global entrenched corruption and I can only disseminate the information hoping to awake others. My name is Raymond Quiachon and I totally and completely support you in fighting to keep Julian Assange from being incarcerated for just being a Publisher. Freedom of of the Press is in our Constitution but we all know it has been tarnished and gone into the dark side. Joe I have been a subscriber to Consortium News for many years and the loss of Robert Parry I felt it deeply. Glad you are on board. There was an individual and sorry I don’t remember his name. But he covered wars and was of divinity branch. I agree with him that we have reached the point that only a revolution is the solution. Please don’t misunderstand or place me as a lunatic misguided by fervor of lunacy. I’m in all my lucidity and clarity. Here in the States have become a Police State of Totalitarianism mentality. If we could fire the whole bunch of those neocons of both parties and take over our government as what Iceland did it would be the best solution without the violence of a revolution. Unfortunately my government is too far gone and will not relinquish without violence. Chaos and anarchy will ensue, which we are in the brink of it as soon the economic bomb explodes. Or we nukes ourselves and annihilate the species. There are lots of young people around the world who are tired and angry of the corruption and it will be these young folks who will herald and usher in the change much needed. Giving we are around as a species. But regarding the USA it will necessitate a revolution and my hope it will cause a a domino effect worldwide. Look what happened in Egypt and in China, it was young people who are coming out to battle the evil forces. I saw recently a report where a young North Koreans don’t agree but of fear they keep silent, the same with some Arabic and Israel young folks. I m sure that if we start the fire it will spread globally. The masses are tired and are awakening. I’m a hippie from the sixties who march against The Vietnam War and still an activist and a radical. I say “Power To The People Of The World.

The truth is that most of the American people love their authoritarian, rapacious government. They also think they are really special, and are proud of it. There will be no revolution by the self satisfied consumers of America.
Maybe not. I for one do not like authority of any kind. Who are most American people? Right here in Wisconsin we had an election. The republican party is doing everything to thwart the in coming government. Believe me, we will stop Walker and his Koch backers. and let Julian Assange defend himself. It is the American way. Hey man you did nothing wrong so blaa blaa blaaa. I have known so many innocent people they cant afford a lawyer, they go to jail because they have no money. Julian Assange has money don’t worry he will never go to jail.

Chris Hedges made a statement I really felt, speaking of the decline of America, he said ‘we don’t even have the vocabulary to describe what is happening to ourselves’ social inequality. Its been a fight from the founding of this country for we are the most violent people on this planet. When the dollar falls as the World reserve currency we will lose our economy, our military, our country! China is working on this scenario as we read.
