Oliver Stone, like Bob Parry, is one of my hero’s. I have been a verbal supporter of Consortium News for years, and it’s high time I donate to its continued success.
Oliver is one of a very small number of critics of patriotism. He rightfully equates it with nationalism ( and I bet he would agrree it also resembles exceptionalism and good old manifest destiny. Love of either god or country makes a great license to kill people who have the misfortune of not being one of us.
