One of the leading journalists’ of our age expounds on the unique importance of Consortium News.
“I’m a strong supporter of their work. They have done some of the most groundbreaking and consistent work on the persecution of Julian Assange … the most importance case in terms of press freedom. They are not owned or bound by the strictures of corporate advertising, which is increasingly not true, even for left-wing sites. It’s free, its independent, it’s courageous and I can’t think of many sites that I admire more than Consortium News and urge you strongly to support it. “

I have donated to CN as usual, and would like to donate to Chris Hedges, but do not see a way to do that.
Does anyone know how?
We are going to need you more than ever in the future. Particularly When the civil war continues and is likely violent, again.
Chris Hedges is truly a Saint !!
CHRIS HEDGES AND CONSORTIUM NEWS….Nothing can better that combination….We are so grateful to have you.
Glad to see an esteemed journalist like Chris Hedges weigh in with an endorsement of the work being done by Consortium News!
Free Julian Assange Now!
Birds of a feather…
Where is the pay pal button? Your site is not allowing me to donate, though I have before. If there is any truth on a war on terrorism then Julian Assange must be Fred. Keeping him in jail is a war on peace and terrors behaviour accountability. The Government’s of the world ought to pay Julian A. ( the wizard) for his contribution to preventing even more terrorism, and ferreting it out from within.
Thank you. The PayPal button is on the upper right side of the page. It appears as the yellow Donate button, and it is working.
We are all indebted to CN’s late founder and editor Robert Parry for this unique and valuable resource. Thanks also to Joe Lauria and everyone else at CN for carrying on this important work.
I agree with Chris Hedges. You recently had a comment from Norwegian, who wrote a book about the Nobel Peace prize. Maybe he could nominate you for the prize. If successful, you could at least be counted on not to bomb places, unlike many other winners such as Henry Kissinger or U.S. President Barack Obama.

Fantastic work, all of you. Thank you.
