Nearly 200,000 protesters attended a pro-Palestine demonstration in Central London on Saturday afternoon, another clear sign that support for Palestinian rights is becoming increasingly mainstream and the imperialists are losing control of the Israel narrative.
The real consequence of this is that people will begin losing trust in the government and media institutions which support Israel, because without trust the empire can’t propagandize people, and without the ability to propagandize us our rulers cannot rule. There’s no risk for Israel of losing U.S. backing due to the U.S. government suddenly evolving a conscience or listening to its constituents, that won’t happen, but losing control of the narrative poses a major problem for the empire. Someone’s image is going to have to change, and those changes could end up benefiting Palestinians.

We’re already seeing this narrative management campaign come into play as mainstream outlets are now permitting some serious criticisms of Israel. This is done cynically to prevent people from losing trust in propaganda institutions, but it also has real effects that can benefit real people. This is a good example of how expanding consciousness is always beneficial, even on the most depraved institutions. The more aware the public becomes of abusive imperial power dynamics, the less abuse the empire can get away with. The empire losing control of the narrative is always a good thing.

As criticism of Israel’s malfeasance becomes more widespread, so too do attempts to analyze exactly what Israel’s role is on the world stage and why it receives so much support from the United States. Some say that Israel is a vassal state of Washington, serving as a functional U.S. military outpost in the most resource-rich region on earth. Others say it’s the other way around, citing the influence of the Israel lobby in D.C. and often getting into ugly nonsense about Jews ruling the world.
All this is born of an immature understanding of what nations are and how they operate within the U.S. -centralized power alliance that functions as a single empire with regard to foreign policy.

The U.S. is not a puppet of Israel, and Israel isn’t a puppet of the U.S. Saying one puppets the other is like saying Ohio puppets Nevada; they’re both member states of the same undeclared empire ruled by uncrowned kings who use governments as weapons to kill and steal.
The lines between nations within the U.S.-centralized empire are no more real than the official elected governments of those nations. It’s just a single unified power structure which uses whatever narratives it requires to justify its continued campaign to rule the entire planet.
Nations are conceptual constructs with no independent existence outside the human imagination. Saying Israel has a right to exist is the same as saying Bugs Bunny has a right to exist, except if you needed to murder a bunch of kids every few years to keep Bugs Bunny around.

There are no separate, sovereign nations within the U.S.-centralized power alliance. The imaginary lines drawn between nations are performative illusions for the little people; they don’t apply to the transnational alliance of plutocrats and government agencies that actually runs things. This alliance centralizes a large amount of its military, financial, and diplomatic firepower around the conceptual construct known as the United States, but the actual behavior of the empire is determined by the alliance, not the U.S. government.
There is no real “Israel” or “America.” There’s just the one empire. Lobbying, financial support, propaganda etc. are just some of the glue that’s required to hold together an empire that doesn’t officially exist. The empire will use any ideology to advance imperial interests, whether it be Zionism, Christian fundamentalism, white supremacism, Islamist extremism, or woke progressivism. It’s all just narratives to move the empire along, because that’s what’s required in an unacknowledged, unofficial empire.
In the old model of empire, an emperor would just issue commands and hold the empire together overtly. In this new model of empire, where imperial member states officially keep their flags and their governments but lose their sovereignty, it’s held together by narrative control.

There is no one government in charge of all this; the official elected governments are not where the real power lies. The actual power structure keeps itself hidden and unaccountable, because it has seen what the masses can do to oppressive rulers who wear crowns in modern times:
Instead, oligarchs now rule from behind the scenes in collaboration with opaque and unaccountable government agencies, because humanity has grown too conscious to tolerate overt rulers. They use narrative manipulation to keep the empire moving in alignment with their interests.
The antidote to this dynamic is of course to keep getting more conscious, to keep learning what’s going on in our world and spreading awareness of what we’ve learned. Their job is to keep truth hidden and unconscious, while our job is to help make truth visible to everyone. Whoever wins will determine our fate as a species.
Nations, like so much else in our world, are conceptual constructs with no independent existence outside the human imagination. What’s real are weapons, explosions, gunshot trauma, and the movement of resources from one area to another. Everything else you see in the news is just mental narrative promulgated at mass scale to manipulate people into accepting these movements. Our job is to help people perceive what’s real underneath all the narrative management.

Chomskyism is his dimissal of the power of the Israel Lobby and the pro-Israel Jewish Establishment, primarily AIPAC, to influence US Middle East policy, about which our mutual friend, the late legendary Israeli professor Israel Shahak wrote me after Chomsky had denied any role of the Israel Lobby in the build-up to the 1991 Gulf War despite ample evidence to the contrary:
“I had the same, only greater, differences of opinion with Noam Chomsky, who is my personal friend for quite a time, on the subject of AIPAC and the influence of the Jewish lobby in general as you have. What is more, a number of mutual friends of Chomsky and me have also tried to influence him, in vain, on that point.
“I am afraid that he is, with all his wonderful qualities and the work he does, quite dogmatic on many things. I have no doubt that his grievous mistake about the lack of importance of AIPAC, which he repeats quite often, helps the Zionists very much as you so graphically described.”
Although it is certainly not her intention, Caitlin Johnstone’s article does the same.

Professor James Petras devotes a whole chapter to Chomsky’s denials of the tail wagging the dog in his poignant and trenchant 2006 book “The Power of Israel in the United States.”
I treasure the bulk of Chomsky’s overall work but on this particular issue his stature slips in my eyes (same with Finkelstein), since it’s common sense to anyone with their eyes open that the Zionists in Washington more often than not dictate Washington’s Middle East policy.
Unfortunately, at best, his being correct in his analysis on other issues has given him unwarranted credibility on this one.
But why Chomsky? Why concentrate on the opinions of an academic who isn’t allowed on mainstream media anyway, and who is only heard on small-audience, independent media? Intellectuals outside the military-industrial complex have no influence whatsoever in governing US foreign policy. Israel only exists because our government and Great Britain and a few others allowed it to occupy Palestine. A managed democracy, an inverted totalitarian government as Wolin describes it in “Democracy Incorporated” requires a mythopoetic reality to control the population without fomenting revolution. Israel fulfills a geopolitical function in the Middle East while also offering the Armageddon factor to those forces inside our country willing to use Christian Theocracy as a guiding light for our feckless empire. Blaming Chomsky for AIPAC’s influence is like encircling the local chapter of the Chamber of Commerce with protesters in order to stop the dissemination of Milton Friedman’s economic philosophy.

Because he has tons of influence over the activist left.
The United States receives no benefit when Tel Aviv wages a repulsive bombing campaign on the innocent civilians of Gaza.
Yet Washington rushed in during Israel’s desperate time of need to hand the Zionist warmongers $735 million worth of weapons at the height of their ethnic cleansing.

Once again, despite the best of intentions, Caitlin Johnstone shows she really doesn’t know what she’s talking about when it comes to Israel-US relations but that failing I would attrobute to her having read Chomsky, Bennis, Finkelstein and Zunes uncritically rather than doing any investigation herself.
The notion that the US and Israel have similar agendas in the Middle East is Chomskyism with an Australian twist. Presidents Kennedy, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, both Bushes and Obama found that out, but the four self-styled experts named above would make us believe otherwise.
But as the legendary Israeli scholar, Prof. Israel Shahak wrote back in 1991, Chomsky appeals to those who are unwilling to investigate the history on their own and the same can be said of those who follow the others. If anyone is curious about what differences any of the presidents mentioned had with Israel just ask.

I often wondered what “Chomskyism” is, but now I know what it is with an “Australian twist.” No, I’m just kidding. I still don’t know what Chomskyism is, but I do know what Chomsky stands for in his books and interviews. I have to assume that what Chomsky actually has written and said only becomes “Chomskyism” when it erupts from the mouths of others. It’s called cause and effect, but the two things are wildly different phenomena in most instances. Not all “tremulations upon the ether” are created equal. Some animals even sleep in beds, but that doesn’t make them human until the need arises.

I’m upset with the media where I live because it has been downplaying the events which led up and to and including the latest battle. I’m trying to get across that Zionists (I feel for non Zionist Jews because, as Alan Hart’s book series title states , “Zionism: the real Enemy of the Jews” is becoming visibly true in this more fractured world. I was going to stress several incidents where Israel did things to America, without a conscience or so it seems. The incidents are:
1: The holding back of Jews trying to escape Nazism and ship them to Palestine to fulfill their Zionist ambitions. Zionists pressured Western governments not to let them land here, yet we are pummeled with blame for not letting them disembark.
2: The USS Liberty they tried to sink so I have read, to stop the US from preventing it from moving its forces against Egypt, after they had destroyed the Egyptian air force on the ground, towards Syria without US permission.
3: Pollard’s passing of secrets to the Israeli government who then used some of that material, given to Russia, to gain Russian Jews for Israeli settlement. Not enough Westerners were interested in immigrating to Israel. I knew a lovely Jewish woman who escaped to Israel but couldn’t stand the racial politics and soon left.
4: Back in the late 70’s Israel was using a divide and conquer ploy. They cut funding to Fatah and gave monetary support to Hamas. Hamas grew and badly observed by the Israelis, became the dominant group. Now Palestinians are paying for an Israeli error.
I was going to mention the theft of nuclear material from NUMEC, a nuclear facility in Apollo Penn. I remember reading about that some years ago and it was thought Israel was behind it, but decided to search for updates and was very surprised by what came up.

Others upset by Kennedy were the CIA and James Angleton Chief of Counterintelligence, Mossad desk.
Kennedy was dead (sorry about the word) against Israeli getting the bomb, and the CIA was upset he didn’t help in the revolt against Castro besides other issues.

I should explain, the USS Liberty was an intelligence vessel, listening to communications in the area. The Zionists didn’t want them to overhear the communications to their forces for the switch from facing Egypt to Syria, which the US had forbidden.

You point 2, the USS Liberty as above, may have originally had the emphasis as you have described. To me and millions of others, mostly in America, Israel gained more from that exercise than any other single act including the gains of nuclear fuel and the death of JFK. Why? It showed them they that had a control over America and by this action, in place because of a US President, (as all have been since that date) it was confirmed in absolute terms. Unquestionably.
They have never looked back since.
The host (USA) and the parasites (Israel) are now living comfortably together, sharing the same common goals. One-sided, yes with only one winner as we have all seen in recent days. How Americas can tolerate the fact that they are dictated to by rabid Zionists,(Shamir…”we own the USA”) is beyond understanding. Makes them appear to be so weak and as a result, now part of a fast crumbling empire.
Just count the number of slavish politicians (both houses) in their required attendance at the next grand performance of AIPAC.
