A Nazi Skeleton in the Family Closet

Exclusive: Canada’s fiercely anti-Russian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland says her Ukrainian grandfather struggled “to return freedom and democracy to Ukraine,” but she leaves out that he was a Nazi propagandist justifying the slaughter of Jews, writes Arina Tsukanova.

By Arina Tsukanova

On Jan. 10, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replaced Foreign Minister Stephane Dion with Chrystia Freeland, a former journalist proud of her Ukrainian roots and well-known for her hostility toward Russia. At the time, a big question in Ottawa was why. Some analysts believed that Trudeau’s decision may have started when it still seemed likely that Hillary Clinton would become the new U.S. president and a tough line against Moscow was expected in Washington.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland

However, by the time the switch was made, Donald Trump was on his way into the White House and Trudeau’s choice meant that Canada was allying itself more with the mounting hostility toward Russia inside the European Union than with President Trump’s hopes for a more cooperative relationship with the Kremlin. With Freeland running Canada’s Foreign Ministry, the chance for a shared view between Ottawa and Washington suddenly seemed remote.

People who have followed Freeland’s career were aware that her idée fixe for decades has been that Ukraine must be ripped out of the Russian sphere of influence. Her views fit with the intense Ukrainian nationalism of her maternal grandparents who immigrated to Canada after World War II and whom she has portrayed as victims of Josef Stalin and the Red Army.

So, Freeland celebrated the Soviet collapse in 1991, which enabled Ukraine to gain its independence. Freeland, then in her early 20s, was working in Kiev as a stringer for The Financial Times and The Washington Post, shining with delight over the emergence of a “New Ukraine.”

By the next decade, working as the U.S. managing editor of The Financial Times, she proudly interviewed then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, who had won control as a result of the 2004 “Orange Revolution.” In her approach to journalism, Freeland made clear her commitment to foment Ukrainian-Russian tensions in any possible way. Indeed, during her journalistic career, which ended in 2013 when she won a seat in Canada’s parliament, Freeland remained fiercely anti-Russian.

In 2014, Yushchenko’s rival Viktor Yanukovych was Ukraine’s elected president while Canadian MP Freeland urged on the “Euro-Maidan” protests against Yanukovych and his desire to maintain friendly relations with Moscow. On Jan. 27, 2014, as the protests grew more violent with ultra-nationalist street fighters moving to the forefront and firebombing police, Freeland visited Kiev and published an op-ed in The Globe and Mail blaming the violence on Yanukovych.

“Democratic values are rarely challenged as directly as they are being today in Ukraine,” Freeland wrote, arguing that the protesters, not the elected president, represented democracy and the rule of law. “Their victory will be a victory for us all; their defeat will weaken democracy far from the Euromaidan. We are all Ukrainians now. Let’s do what we can — which is a lot — to support them.”

Ukraine’s ‘Regime Change’

Freeland’s op-ed appeared at about the same time as her ideological ally, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, was caught on an insecure phone line discussing with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt who the new leaders of Ukraine should be. “Yats is the guy,” Nuland said about Arseniy Yatsenyuk while dismissing the E.U.’s less aggressive approach to the crisis with the pithy remark, “Fuck the E.U.” Nuland and Pyatt then pondered how to “glue this thing” and “midwife this thing.”

Several weeks later, on Feb. 20, a mysterious sniper shot both police and protesters, touching off a day of bloody mayhem. On Feb. 22, armed rioters seized government buildings and forced Yanukovych to flee for his life. He was then impeached without the constitutional rules being followed. Yatsenyuk became prime minister, and Western governments quickly pronounced the new regime “legitimate.”

The new xenophobic regime in Kiev – bristling with hostility toward ethnic Russian Ukrainians – did not embarrass Freeland. As Canada’s newly appointed minister of international trade, Freeland met frequently with Ukrainian officials, more so than with many of Canada’s leading trade partners.

But the more troubling question is whether Freeland’s devotion to Ukrainian nationalism is rooted not in her commitment to the “rule of law” or “democratic values” or even the well-being of the Ukrainian people whose living standards have declined sharply since the Feb. 22, 2014 putsch (amid continued government corruption), but in her devotion to her Ukrainian grandparents whom she still views as victims of Stalin and the Red Army.

Last Aug. 24, reflecting on so-called Black Ribbon Day, which lumps together the crimes of Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler (with Stalin getting top billing), she wrote on Twitter, “Thinking of my grandparents Mykhailo & Aleksandra Chomiak on Black Ribbon Day. They were forever grateful to Canada for giving them refuge and they worked hard to return freedom and democracy to Ukraine. I am proud to honour their memory today.”

In her autobiography, Freeland presents her grandparents in the following way: “My maternal grandparents fled western Ukraine after Hitler and Stalin signed their non-aggression pact in 1939. They never dared to go back, but they stayed in close touch with their brothers and sisters and their families, who remained behind.”

According to Freeland, her grandfather Mykhailo Chomiak was “a lawyer and journalist before the Second World War, but they [her grandparents] knew the Soviets would invade western Ukraine (and) fled.” After the war, her mother was born in a refugee camp in Germany before the family immigrated to western Canada, Freeland wrote.

Freeland’s grandfather was allegedly able to get a visa only thanks to his sister who had crossed the ocean before the war. The family story told by Freeland portrays her grandparents as World War II victims, but that is not the real or full story.

Chrystia Freeland’s dark family secret is that her grandfather, Mykhailo Chomiak, faithfully served Nazi Germany right up to its surrender, and Chomiak’s family only moved to Canada after the Third Reich was defeated by the Soviet Union’s Red Army and its allies – the U.S. and Great Britain.

Mykhailo Chomiak was not a victim of the war – he was on the side of the German aggressors who collaborated with Ukrainian nationalists in killing Russians, Jews, Poles and other minorities. Former journalist Freeland chose to whitewash her family history to leave out her grandfather’s service to Adolf Hitler. Of course, if she had told the truth, she might never have achieved a successful political career in Canada. Her fierce hostility toward Russia also might be viewed in a different light.

Freeland’s Grandfather

According to Canadian sources, Chomiak graduated from Lviv University in western Ukraine with a Master’s Degree in Law and Political Science. He began a career with the Galician newspaper Dilo (Action), published in Lviv. After the start of World War II, the Nazi administration appointed Chomiak to be editor of the newspaper Krakivski Visti (News of Krakow).

So the truth appears to be that Chomiak moved from Ukraine to Nazi-occupied Poland in order to work for the Third Reich under the command of Governor-General Hans Frank, the man who organized the Holocaust in Poland. Chomiak’s work was directly supervised by Emil Gassner, the head of the press department in the Polish General Government.

Governor Hans Frank (left) and Emil Gassner open the German Press House in Krakow, March 1942

Mikhailo Chomiak comfortably settled his family into a former Jewish (or Aryanized) apartment in Krakow. The editorial offices for Krakivski Visti also were taken from a Jewish owner, Krakow’s Polish-language Jewish newspaper Nowy Dziennik. Its editor at the time was forced to flee Krakow for Lviv, where he was captured following the occupation of Galicia and sent to the Belzec extermination camp, where he was murdered along with 600,000 other Jews.

So, it appears Freeland’s grandfather – rather than being a helpless victim – was given a prestigious job to spread Nazi propaganda, praising Hitler from a publishing house stolen from Jews and given to Ukrainians who shared the values of Nazism.

On April 24, 1940, Krakivski Visti published a full-page panegyric to Adolf Hitler dedicated to his 51st birthday (four days earlier). Chomiak also hailed Governor-General Hans Frank: “The Ukrainian population were overjoyed to see the establishment of fair German authority, the bearer of which is you, Sir Governor-General. The Ukrainian people expressed this joy not only through the flowers they threw to the German troops entering the region, but also through the sacrifices of blood required to fight Polish usurpers.” (Because of Frank’s role in the Holocaust, the Nuremberg Tribunal found him guilty of crimes against humanity and executed him.)

Beyond extolling Hitler and his henchmen, Chomiak rejoiced over Nazi military victories, including the terror bombings of Great Britain. While praising the Third Reich, Krakivski Visti was also under orders by the German authorities to stir up hatred against the Jewish population. Editorial selections from Chomiak’s newspaper can be found in Holocaust museums around the world, such as the one in Los Angeles, California.

The Nov. 6, 1941 issue of Krakivski Visti ecstatically describes how much better Kiev is without Jews. “There is not a single one left in Kiev today, while there were 350,000 under the Bolsheviks,” the newspaper wrote, gloating that the Jews “got their comeuppance.”

That “comeuppance” refers to the mass shooting of Kiev’s Jewish population at Babi Yar. In just two days, Sept. 29-30, 1941, a total of 33,771 people were murdered, a figure that does not include children younger than three years old. There were more shootings in October, and by early November, Krakivski Visti was enthusing over a city where the Jewish population had “disappeared” making Kiev “beautiful, glorious.” Chomiak’s editorials also described a Poland “iinfected by Jews.”

Jewish women lined up waiting to be shot at Babi Yar, September 1941

According to John-Paul Himka, a Canadian historian of Ukrainian origin, Krakivski Visti stirred up emotions against Jews, creating an atmosphere conducive to mass murder. In 2008, the Institute of Historical Research at Lviv National University published a paper co-authored by Himka entitled “What Was the Attitude of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists toward the Jews?” The paper states that, by order of the German authorities, Krakivski Visti published a series of articles between June and September 1943 under the title “Yids in Ukraine” that were written in an extremely anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi vein. The Canadian historian writes that Jews were portrayed as criminals, while Ukrainians were portrayed as victims.

Refuge in Canada

As the war turned against the Nazis and the Red Army advanced across Ukraine and Poland, Nazi propagandist Emil Gassner took Mykhailo Chomiak in 1944 to Vienna where Krakivski Visti continued to publish. As the Third Reich crumbled, Chomiak left with the retreating German Army and surrendered to the Americans in Bavaria, where he was placed with his family in a special U.S. military intelligence facility in Bad Wörishofen, a cluster of hotels situated 78 kilometers from Munich in the foothills of the Alps.

The Chomiak family was given accommodations, living expenses and health care. In her biography, Freeland refers to it only as “a refugee camp.” In September 1946, Mikhailo Chomiak’s daughter Halyna was born in that spa town. In May 1948, the facility was closed and Chomiak, the former Nazi editor, departed for Canada.

While it is true that the sins of a grandfather should not be visited on his descendants, Freeland should not have misled the public on history of such importance, especially when her deceptions also concealed how she partly developed her world view. The family’s deep hostility toward Russia appears to have been passed down from Mikhailo Chomiak’s generation to his granddaughter Chrystia Freeland.

Like many of today’s Ukrainian nationalists, including pockets of post-World War II immigrants in Canada and the United States, Freeland glosses over the violent abuses of the current regime in Kiev toward ethnic Russians, including the fatal firebombing of the Trade Union Building in Odessa and enlistment of neo-Nazi militias to prosecute the so-called “Anti-Terror Operation” against ethnic Russian rebels in the Donbass region. Overall, the conflict has killed some 10,000 people, including many ethnic Russian civilians.

But Freeland only sees “Russian aggression” and vows to maintain an unrelentingly hard line to punish Moscow. So, the pressing question about Freeland is whether her family history makes her incapable of an objective assessment of this dangerous New Cold War crisis. Is a person who describes her Nazi-collaborating grandfather as someone who “worked hard to return freedom and democracy to Ukraine” fit to represent Canada to the world?

Arina what you wrote is a disgraceful sack of lies, a story that has been run by Rusdian propaganda networks many times. Shame on you.

Has anyone read this post which provides more details. Facts seem to be clear that Freeland was not honest. She should either offer a rebuttal or step down.

    Huff Post March 6, 2017:

“Chrystia Freeland: Canadians Should Be ‘Prepared’ For Russian Efforts To Destabilize Political System”

“… Freeland was asked about a series of articles on pro-Russian websites alleging one of her grandparents was a Nazi sympathizer.

The Globe and Mail’s Robert Fife asked Freeland, who has been banned from entering Russia, if she saw this as a campaign by the Russians to “smear and discredit” her.

(Freeland said) “I think that it is also public knowledge that there have been efforts, as U.S. intelligence forces have said, by Russia to destabilize the U.S. political system. I think that Canadians and indeed other western countries should be prepared for similar efforts to be directed at us.”

Did Chrysta Freeland know of her grandfather’s Nazi collaborations? If she did and she deliberately mislead the Canadian public to have them think of him as a victim of undeserved Russian persecution, she has lost the credibility and trustworthiness to serve in a Canadian federal cabinet and her resignation should be requested. Indeed if she mislead the voters in her riding, she has lost the moral right to keep her seat. But if it is true that she has perpetrated this misrepresentation, it is probably futile to belief she will do the right thing now.

As to the case being closed on Hitler’s demise by identification of the dental work, I do not find from the huge number of articles on the issue that this closed the case. Still lots of “he said, she said” and the radiographs are not absolute proof because of memory identification years later of the dental assistant and prosthetist, seemingly plausible, and no DNA verification, and the FSB still holds the mandible. There are still ongoing investigations looking at all evidence including CIA and FBI files by Bob Baer, ex-CIA agent, and Tim Kennedy, special forces. Probably will never be closed, just a source of fascination, and Jewish NAZI victims’ families would certainly not like to believe this evil man survived to escape. JFK’s assassination to this day is debated. But I appreciate your leading me to this debate on the mandible, and I admit it certainly isn’t central to this article about Freeland, who is definitely lying. And it is true that the Ukrainian famine is being misrepresented and now really getting propagandised with the current hysteria about Russia.

You do know that the Russians denied that there ever was a famine until 1991 when some interesting documents were declassified in INDEPENDENT UKRAINE? After that they said that the crops went bad, the weather was bad, a bunch of silly excuses. They also denied Katyn ever happened, until it was uncovered and then they changed their story to “nazis did it”. When more evidence was uncovered they again changed their story to ” Stalin did it”. Russia has invaded a sovereign nation, it has hacked into American elections, funds far right and far left radicals all over Europe funds terrorist groups with in unoccupied areas of Ukraine. Does that sound “Hysteric” enough for you? How about i come to your house beat the fuck out of your family force you to sign over the property papers on to me and kick you out? thats what Russia to to Ukraine in Crimea. Then i would come to your new house, and simply bomb the crap out of it level it to the ground, thats what Russia did to Ukraine in Donbas. Get your facts straight.

Such an incredible amount of WWII history related in these posts that is NEVER presented to the American public either through the media or in the school system, except maybe graduate-level specialty courses. For all the American public knows, the Ukies were victimized by both the Germans and the Soviets, with only a few bad apples like John Demjanjuk who pulled the wool over our eyes as to their atrocities. I’m sure one could get lost in a depressing labyrinth of war crimes if one studied that time and place in great detail. Mostly only the surviving family of victims have the fortitude to face the details and try to seek justice. Governments, like those of the United States and Canada, basically avoid the issue unless they are forced into it or can milk it for political expediency. Think our leaders really cared what Demjanjuk might have done, or were they greasing a squeaky wheel?

Well listen there are bad and good people everywhere, but you can not judge a nation by the actions of a few. There were American soldiers who defected to the nazi side i dont come out saying that all American are traitors do i? Ukrainians suffered heavily under both Soviet and Nazi occupations. TENS OF UNCOUNTED MILLIONS KILLED. You mentioning one man who by the way was not convicted show that your opinion of Ukrainians was already predisposed..

You just hit it home ……

Nothing is more absurd and ignorant than to read too much into this whole subject matter and those submitted comments before us.

Considering all historic evidence that has been presented since the end of WWII,absolutely nothing can be called `fair and justified`.
Most so – called evidence against any and all Nazi`s was nothing but the `plain hatred with anything of Hitler`s Germany`. Period.
One of the most disturbing examples are the never ending ` Nazi Skeleton in the Family Closet ` – presentations we see here.

Why not bringing up all the deliberate and current atrocities committed by Zionist – Jewish – Israel against innocent Palestinians ?

It`s sickening to see the senseless killings of millions by racist Nazi – Israel `since the end of WWII`- and read about `old Nazis ` !

It’s a little late in this thread to respond to a couple of topics, but I just can’t resist. So, here goes.

Let me start with “Hitler escaped”. He didn’t, unless he left without his jawbones. The entire Simon Dunstan cockamamie story hinges on Connecticut “anthropologist” Nick Belantoni’s “forensic” examination of a skull fragment. That fragment was found adjacent Hitler’s corpse, where a whole bunch of people had been blown to bits. It was always acknowledged to belong to somebody else. So, Belantoni’s “proof” that it didn’t belong to Hitler is irrelevant. Hitler’s dentist was an American trained guy named Hugo Blaschke. He made a bridge for Hitler that was unique in all the world. A segment of that bridge, rather than attaching to contiguous teeth, skips a tooth by way of a portion of the gold casting which ran in an arc along the gum line. On a radiograph, the silhouette of this casting looks like a standard Bell Telephone handset. The restoration was dubbed, “The Telephone Bridge”. When the April Bomb Plot (made famous by Tom Cruise in the Valkyrie movie) severely injured Hitler, a skull x-ray was exposed which demonstrates the “Telephone Bridge”. The “chain of custody” of that radiograph is well established, and it ended up in allied hands. When the Russkies finally “fessed up” to having saved the jaw fragments removed on autopsy including Hitler’s dental work, the match was found to be perfect. Case closed. Sure, all the “defenders” of this nonsensical theory claim that “adequate” dental records are not available. That’s true…except that in this case, the Russians have the actual teeth. Records are superfluous, because that one radiograph clinches the deal. Remains of American servicemen are often identified on far less conclusive evidence – like one filling in one tooth found on a battlefield. Forensic pathology is omnipotent in some cases. This is one such case. Communications records, logbooks, guest lists, visitor recollections and switchboard logs all provide corroborating evidence that the Sir Hugh Trevor-Roper account was accurate.

Then, there’s the “engineered” famine that Stalin is reputed to have directed against those brave, freedom-loving Ukrainian peasants who “resisted collectivization”. Granted, Stalin was a paranoid psychotic, and he murdered plenty of people. But what happened in Ukraine was nothing “personal”. There was a wheat rust epidemic, and crops failed all over the Soviet Union. In Ukraine, the hungry and not particularly forward looking peasants survived the winter by slaughtering draft animals. By springtime, they couldn’t even supply a goat cart with a goat. So, when it came time to plow, they had no horses, no oxen, and no manure to fertilize. Crops failed again – obviously. Two years in a row, and there was little to eat. But that starvation was happening all over, and some of the worst happened in what is today part of Poland. Why aren’t the Poles whining about the “Holodomor”? Well, because they had bigger problems.

I can understand why the tragic Holodomor narrative continues to captivate. It provides a convenient propaganda “meme” which is rooted in elements of truth. But I just don’t get the Hitler thing. There must be some agenda behind it – either because some people still worship the guy – or because some people just want to believe that evil somehow always succeeds. Either way, the whole Hitler thing is fantasy.

You have been misinformed about the famine in Ukraine. A good place to start learning the real situation is Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin by Timothy Snyder. The entire first chapter – The Soviet Famines – describes in detail how the slaughter was both thorough and deliberate and it – or most of it – is online at

      http://erenow.com/ww/bloodlandseuropebetweenhitlerandstalin/3.html

The Ukrainians had a very good reason for welcoming the Nazis with open arms until they found they were in for even worse treatment from them. It was a replay of the old testament story – Stalin scourged you with whips; but the Nazis will scourge you with scorpions.

The fact that there is the word “fascist” in your link, when the timeline is 1932-1933 just shows that your opinion about Ukraine and Ukrainians is predisposed. There are still thousands of people alive today in Ukraine who have lived through it, who were children and even teenagers when it happened. Why do people always think that they can fool someone, that somebody is dumber then them and just by putting the word “fascist” it will undermine the truth? Holodomor was a direct genocide against Ukrainians, it was aimed to destroy the Ukrainian independence movement, destroy the Ukrainian Kulaks, to proceed with collectivization, and most important of all to ETHNICALLY CLEANSE ETHNIC UKRAINIANS FROM THEIR LANDS. Why do you think there are so many ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine?

When we speak of Germany’s “terror bombing” of England, consider this. The Blitz on London in 1940 came in response to the initiation of city bombing by Britain months earlier. The British government pioneered the bombing of cities in a way that was not mere collateral damage but was the deliberate targeting of working-class homes. The day after Churchill ousted Chamberlain as Prime Minister, on May 11, 1940, eighteen Whitley bombers attacked Germany for the first time in an air campaign that would continue for five solid years. Churchill and his advisors extended the definition of acceptable military objectives to include factories, oil plants and public buildings, even entire towns and villages.

On August 25, 81 British bombers made the first of six surprise night raids on Berlin, then finally on 6 September the Luftwaffe replied in kind, and kept flying as long as RAF attacks continued. The British people were not permitted to find out that their government could have stopped the German raids at any time merely by stopping the raids on Germany. All told, German bombs took some one-tenth of the lives of civilians compared to the British offensive against Germany.

In March 1942 Churchill’s War Cabinet adopted the “Lindemann plan”, whereby civilian targeting became official. Working-class homes were specifically targeted because they were closer together, and so the greatest kill ratio could be anticipated. The War Cabinet kept this horrific plan of mass murder a top state secret, no inkling of which was ever intended to be made public. Lindemann was never prosecuted for this ghastly new war crime, by which all German non-combatants could be randomly incinerated from the air.

The Lindemann plan swung into action on 28th March 1942 when 234 aircraft of Bomber Command attacked the old port of Lubeck. It had no military or industrial importance but was chosen because, as Air Marshall “bomber” Harris remarked, the city was “built more like a firelighter than a human habitation.” Its old medieval houses and narrow streets and its cathedral were erased, by “a first class success” of the RAF. On 30 May 1942 a thousand aircraft dropped high explosive and incendiaries on the medieval town of Cologne, burning it from end to end. The devastation was total.

The story of World War II is riddled with such inconvenient truths, lost down the memory hole of “history” written by victors.

    The article states:

“According to Canadian sources, Chomiak graduated from Lviv University in western Ukraine with a Master’s Degree in Law and Political Science. He began a career with the Galician newspaper Dilo (Action), published in Lviv. After the start of World War II, the Nazi administration appointed Chomiak to be editor of the newspaper Krakivski Visti (News of Krakow).

There is a very serious and basic factual error here: Lviv (then known as Lvov) did not become part of Ukraine, and therefore the Soviet Union, until the end of World War II. Between the wars, it was part of Poland. Therefore, the article is incorrect when it says the man in question “moved from Ukraine to Nazi-occupied Poland” for the simple reason that he already lived in Poland and simply moved from one part of Poland to another. This move took him from the part of Poland occupied by the Russians to the part of Poland occupied by the Germans (and remember, the Russians and Germans were allies at this point and divided Poland between them according to the terms of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact – they didn’t become enemies until June of 1941), which was natural enough given the fact that he was a journalist in the Polish language and the Russians had immediately shut down the Polish publications in Lviv as part of a drive to suppress the Polish history of the city and make it Ukranian.

The history of this part of Europe is rather complicated, and in 1939, if one was in the unfortunate position of having to try and survive under the Russians (who had just finished one of the biggest mass slaughters in history with the Hlodomor and Gulag in the 1930s, and the Germans, who were just about to start one of the biggest mass slaughters in history with the Holocaust, there was no good choice to make.

Trying to present this as a simple morality tale, with clear good guys (Russians) and bad guys (Germans), as this article does, is simplistic. For in real life, it often happens that there are only bad guys and more bad guys, and that was certainly the case for the Poles when Poland was invaded by the Russians on one side and the Germans on the other.

The problem with your assessment here is that it was not “the Russians” in control of the Soviet Union at the time. It was Stalin, who was Georgian. (Lenin, who was Russian, at the end of his life, supported Trotsky, who was Ukranian, as his successor, but by then, he was too ill to do much about it.)

At the end of WWII the US took German chief of eastern intelligence Reinhard Gehlen under its wing. At the creation of the CIA in 1947 the Org, Gehlen’s organization, was absorbed into it. At that time roughly 20% of CIA employees had been Nazi spies before the end of the war. Meanwhile, the CIA imported old Nazis and fascists into the US, and Canada and Australia, under various anti-Communist programs like the Congress For Freedom and Operation Paperclip. These fascist immigrant communities were imported precisely to move ethnic voters rightward.

These communities, and the individuals in them, were supported by US intelligence for the eventuality of subverting the Warsaw Pact to the US’s advantage. In the late 1980s stories began surfacing about the Republican Ethnic Heritage group, filled with fascists from around the world, many brought here by the CIA.

As the Soviet Union collapsed many of these people, or their children, were financed and trained by organizations like the NED and reinserted into eastern Europe, eventually infiltrating and subverting the political systems there.

In the destruction of the former Yugoslavia the US supported former fascists and war criminals in both the Bosnian and Croatian camps (both “countries” having been allied with Germany during WWII). Neo-Nazi youths from Germany and Scandinavia volunteered to fight alongside other fascists in the region. This about the time when the imported fascists flipped from being part of the Republican Party apparatus to becoming more aligned with the Democrats, under Bill Clinton.

In 2014 the descendants of the OUN-B, the fascist organization which helped Nazis to kill a million Jews in Ukraine during WWII, were the street fighters for the coup in Ukraine.

Essentially, we are repeating the failed Nazi Operation Barbarossa in slow motion. H. Clinton was completely onboard, Trump not so much. But recognizing the power structure in the US, Trump will eventually acquiesce to the war against Russia. He has no choice.

The first massacre of Jews took place in Lviv in 1941 shortly after the German invasion. Up to 7000 Jews died in the pogrom(s). The Germans found able willing assistants in the OUN-B, Stepan Bandera’s Ukrainian nazi outfit who went on to massacre tens of thousands of Poles carried out by OUN-B’s military wing the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) from 1943-45. All this is a matter of historical record. (There are some shocking, and genuine pictures of this barbarism being carried out). The UPA was not the only indigenous, crypto-nazi grouping operating at the time. The 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician) was a World War II German military formation made up predominantly of volunteers with a Ukrainian ethnic background from the area of Galicia, later also with some Slovaks, Czechs and Dutch volunteers and officers. Formed in 1943, it was largely destroyed by Soviet forces in the battle of Brody, reformed, and saw action in Slovakia, Yugoslavia and Austria before being renamed the first division of the Ukrainian National Army and surrendering to the Western Allies by 10 May 1945. They were interned in Rimini (Italy). Former soldiers of SS “Galizien” were allowed to immigrate to Canada and the United Kingdom in 1947

Yes, fascist butchers could always expect a warm welcome in the Anglo-Canadian world. The second generation are now taking up where their parents left off

More material on Freeland’s “heroic” grandpa. This was published in January in Dancing with Bears. Look at this quote, taken from official Alberta government records. The article also says that Poland is now keen on taking a hard look at Chomiak’s role in agitating for the ethnic cleansing of Poles, as well as Jews, after the Polish government praised Freeland’s appointment as Foreign Minister (they are now regretting that, apparently)

“The Alberta provincial government library reports it holds Michael Chomiak’s papers. He is described as having “graduated from Lviv University with master’s degree in law and political science. In 1928, as a journalist, he started work in the Ukrainian daily Dilo, and from 1934 to 1939 he served on the editorial staff. During the Nazi occupation, he was the editor of Krakivski Visti, published first in Cracow and then in Vienna.”

There are plenty of articles, in Russia and all over the world, about the criminal policies of Stalin and the USSR, especially on the forced collectivization of agriculture. And history proves that the huge famine unleashed by such policy did not specifically target or affected Ukranian farmers. The millions dead were Russians, Ukranians, Kazakhs, etc. It was a crazy experiment, in par with Mao’s later social engineering plans. However: this article is about a fringe Russo-phobe, who encourages neo-nazis in Ukraine and distorts her family’s past and the important role her grandfather played as Nazi propagandist in occupied Poland. And that woman is now Canada’s foreign affairs minister!!

Thanks to Arina Tsokanova for a very enlightening article. I hope this information becomes more widely disseminated. It would be interesting to learn more of the activities of Mykhailo Chomiak, Freeland’s grandfather, after he got to Canada. Especially put in context of the comment writer who pointed out the Catholic Vatican support for the Third Reich.

There is a very interesting book by Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams, British journalists, I believe, about the escape to Argentina of Hitler, his lover Eva Braun, and a few of Hitler’s loyalists, planned and executed by Hitler’s sinister secretary and strategist, Martin Bormann, who oversaw the art, gold, and other wealth collected from the Jewish victims. They escaped by submarine, and even Hitler’s beloved German Shepherd, Blondi, was taken with them. Juan and Eva Peron, who were Nazi and Fascist sympathizers, accepted a huge amount of this wealth for the secret deal, and the Hitler retinue settled in Patagonia. There was already a German community of Argentinian Nazi sympathizers in the south of Argentina, and the authors interviewed elderly people still living who are witness to Hitler living there with Braun. Now, what does this have to do with Freeland? I only recommend it for the covered-up intrigue as evidence there is much secrecy going on in governments and what we now are calling the Deep State.

Which brings me to a final paragraph on this intrigue of Freeland and Ukraine. I am curious as to what is really going on with this US sponsored coup in Ukraine and the lies being told about Russia and Crimea. There is an article by the investigative journalist Wayne Madden published at global-politics.eu 12-29-2016: “Israel’s Secret Plan for a ‘Second Israel’ in Ukraine”. There is a Ukrainian billionaire, Kolomoisky, governor of Dnipropetrovsk, citizen of Ukraine, Israel, and Cyprus, who has been spending tens of millions on recruitment of right wing Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis from Europe to fight against ethnic Russians in Donbass region of east Ukraine, purportedly to ensure the plans for 2nd Israel not be derailed. There’s a lot more, having to do with the genetic heritage of Ashkenazim Jews showing descent from eastern Europe Khazars, different from the Sephardic Jews of ancient Palestine. This has been controversial for a long time, but there is now more discussion and credence being given to it, including even Netanyahu, who was initially skeptical.

So, I wonder if Freeland’s installation in Canada as Foreign Minister might be linked to some intrigue of the global deep state?

If Donald had ambitions to open up a hotel/casino in Moscow, well I’m guessing that by now Mattis and Pence has made it a point to inform the Donald of how NATO comes first, and Crimea belongs to us, I mean Kiev. I wouldn’t doubt Nikki Haley has nothing against the Russians, but she knows who’s really in charge…’sorry Donald, but I do love my new job’ as Nikki speaks into her UN mic. I’m beginning to believe John Brennan is Allen Dulles and J Edgar Hoover all wrapped up in one.

I didn’t vote for Trump, and I think his rhetoric has run out. Why he’s promising to make our military bigger, while claiming he will keep us out of war. He makes gestures of friendship to Putin while he shakes his angry fist at Putin’s friends Iran and China. He increases the Defense budget by fifty four billion, while striking down EPA rules…hey Donald those people in the Rust Belt States do take showers. He’s going to do all these huge things while cutting everyone’s taxes. I guess he will just place an order at the Fed for more worthless money…is anyone ever going to do a real audit, and see how much is really left of our national treasure?

In order for NATO to stay relevant it needs Russia as an enemy, and Putin knows that. This time the Bear just maybe ready if backed up against the wall to much…so it maybe wise to take a step back. And then there’s China…I’m going to bed.

I do not know Chrystia Freeland personally but do know her father, Don Freeland. I also knew her paternal grandfather, Wilbur Freeland when he was alive. We were involved in promoting a progressive tax reform that would reduce or eliminate taxes on wages and capital and collect resource and socially-created economic rents from landholders instead. We were convinced that this would reduce disincentives to produce and also provide collective benefits from the gifts of nature, which no individual or corporation created. We promoted the ideas of Henry George. I do not know whether Chrystia Freeland herself agrees with Georgist ideas.

The background of Ctrystia Freeland’s grandparents is indeed troubling. There is no excuse to ever support of the persecution or extermination of any group of people. If Chrystia Freeland’s maternal grandfather did so he must stand condemned. Ukrainians were caught between a rock and a hard place. Josef Stalin ordered the collectivization of agriculture throughout the Soviet Union during the first Five Year Plan. Many Ukrainians resisted this edict and Stalin responded by creating a famine in the Ukraine in which millions perished in the early 1930’s . This so antagonized the Ukrainians that many of the survivors at first welcomed the Germans as liberators when they were invaded in 1941. Many Ukrainians felt that they had to support the Germans to save themselves from Stalin’s wrath. In doing so they made a pact with another devil, Hitler.

My 101 year old father Frederick landed with the 1st Canadian Army Division to arrive in England during WW11. Dad was a commando that fought both German and Italian fascists. I do blame her however for continuing in her grandfather’s profession as a fascist propagandist. And now as the Foreign Minister of Canada, she is in a position to aid and support the Cold War 11 hysteria.

This article could use some clarification. Unfortunately, the scholarly discourse attached is not available in English translation, so that those of us who had some training in Cyrillic decades back would not be able to get near to understanding it (by now). It is not clear that Mikhailo Chomiak was a member of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (ONU), one wing of which during 1943 and ’44 was involved in the massacre of tens of thousands of ethnic Poles in Volhynia. Can the author determine if Mr. Chomiak editorialized in favor of these actions as well, back in the General Government? It would add to our understanding of some neglected events of the Second World War.

Given that this is filled with a lot of detailed information that most people don’t know about, I am distressed by one point of misinformation that I do know about. The author notes that Chomiak attended Lviv University before WW2. In fact, that university (with a Polish name) was a prestigious Polish university from about 1920 until the splitting of Poland by the Hitler Stalin Pact and the start of WW2 in 1939. The language of the university was Polish, not Ukrainian. The Katyn massacre saw Stalin execute 1000s of Polish leaders, academics, intellectuals, most from Lvov (the Polish spelling) and area, and that part of Poland transitioned to be part of Ukraine.

If Anna Tsukanova, a Russian-Ukranian writer, glossed over this point, then what other items did she gloss over? Is this essay also filled with other misinformation pieces? Was it written as part of a war of words continuing the recent Russian annexation of parts of Ukraine?

    • jacobrojo
      February 27, 2017 at 20:22

The fact that you bring up the Katyn massacre, which, although historically irrefutable as one of Stalin’s atrocities against the Poles, is irrelevant to the thesis of the article, would indicate that you are already predisposed to doubting the remotest possibility that Freeland is of Nazi stock. The fact that the author does not stipulate when Chomiak received the MA or speculate on his linguistic abilities makes the allusion even more suspect. Clearly, one might surmise that rather than being a ‘doubtful’ Canadian, you are quite possibly another morally ‘superior’ Canadian (aren’t you all? and even more so in the Toronto area) like Freeland – of Nazi heritage.

The point is that the West is bent on war with Russia whatever the cost and however much of a smear campaign it might take to win hearts and minds and however much it might mean cavorting with the descendants of Nazis haboured and welcomed by ‘good’ democracies like Canada, the UK, the US etc all those years ago and that such a war with Russia will possibly end life as we know it. Political figures like Freeland – culturally and emotionally wired to despise Russia – will do everything they can to make such an outcome a reality….and all the while posing as the defenders of human rights and democracy, world peace etc.

    • FobosDeimos
      February 27, 2017 at 21:27

It looks like the University underwent different phases of language coexistence or domination since it was founded in the 17th Century. German was prevalent among academics during Austrian hegemony, but Polish and Ukranian were also used. After Polish independence and the Polish-Ukranian war of 1918-1919 the University still allowed Ukranian language, even though Polish became the official academic language. It could very well be that Chomiak spoke both languages (as well as German), something not at all uncommon among educated people of his time and place. This view is reinforced by the fact that the nazis sent him to Krakow, where he undoubtedly needed a fluent knowledge of Polish.

    • Adrian Engler
      February 28, 2017 at 07:54

What is wrong according to your opinion?
Yes, Lviv (Lwów in Polish) belonged to Poland until WWII. After the German-Soviet occupation, it was annexed to the Soviet Union. Instead of saying that Chomiak moved from Ukraine to Nazi-occupied Poland, one could say that he moved from the Soviet-occupied part of pre-WWII Poland to the Nati-German-occupied part of Poland. But I don’t think that really changes very much.
It is true that the Stalinist regime killed many Poles, both before the war (Poles living in the Soviet Union, false accusations that there was a conspiracy of Polish spies) and after the occupation of a part of Poland by the Soviet Union (then, there were massacres like the one in Katy?). But in what way does this contradict the contents of the article? Should the mass murders of Poles and Jews by Ukrainian fascists be condemned less because the Soviet Union also committed mass murders against Poles?

I agree that someone should not be blamed for the actions of their grandparents. Of course, I have a personal stake in this as one of my grandparebts was a convicted serial child molester.

One can, however, be blamed for how they express their feelings about their grandparents and their actions. My grandfather was the closest thing to pure evil I have ever personally encountered. I in no way hold him up as a hero. If I did, that would be a reflection of my own character.

When the grandchild of a Nazi propagandist cries about how he was a victim, this is a reflection on her character as well.

That the United States, Great Britain and the Roman Catholic Church extended the welcoming hand of friendship to so many Nazi war criminals after World War II proves three points. These are:

(1)-That, just as the Soviet Union claimed, the U.S.S.R.’s capitalist allies were not seeking to defeat fascism, but rather to determine which brand of fascism — euphemism-camouflaged Anglo/American fascism or unabashedly murderous German fascism — would rule the world (in which context note the Anglo-American use of “austerity” as the primary euphemism for the deliberately genocidal reduction of socioeconomic stipends and services). .

    (2)-That by 1945, and probably much earlier, the U.S. Ruling Class had recognized the Nazi war criminals as essential to its future plans for “growth,” which means the capitalist agenda of global conquest — implicitly announced by the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki — was finalized and operational long before the world’s non-Communist population began to recognize we the people of the 99 Percent are everywhere targeted for enslavement;

(3)-That — again as Marxism has long recognized (and as is proven beyond argument by global conditions today) — fascism is merely the final, mature form of capitalism — acknowledgement of which by the capitalists themselves is implicit in the open-armed welcome they gave so many Nazi war criminals after 1945.

It is a bit of an aside, but Max Weber’s cogent analysis of capitalism’s Protestant Christian origins omitted Catholicism’s role as a major enabler of capitalism — and therefore of fascism — only because of Weber’s timing. When he wrote “The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism” (1904-1905), neither organized fascism nor the Marxian analysis of fascism as the inevitable final form of capitalism existed, never mind the Catholic Church’s unbroken history of enthusiastically enabling tyranny ever since the Edict of Milan (313 CE) made it the state religion of the Roman Empire.

Thus we see once again the enormity of the Big Lie that claims “the curve of the universe tends toward justice,” when in fact the entire approximately 6,000-year history of patriarchy is a history of darkness, its malignant despotism broken only by the briefest and invariably doomed flickers of liberty.

Which, of course, is the real story of everything that obtains today — including how Canada has been manipulated into becoming yet another maniacally suicidal advocate of World War III, which is clearly intended as the Final Solution to the “surplus population” problem, but in all probability will result in the extermination of all sentient life on this planet. .

Don’t know what motivated putting Freeland into Foreign Affairs, but an important rule for good governance is: never let fanatics make policy. Freelance’s January 2014 op-ed is not opinion and not background, it is deliberately worded propaganda. She calls, a month before the coup, for a western presence to “moderate talks” between the two sides – a process which would happen and had succeeded, and its success was the major reason the more strident of the Maidan groups decided to physically intervene to overturn the government. Canada then joined with the USA and UK to “legitimize” the unconstitutional coup government and Freeland had nothing more to say about the “democratic values” she makes such a big deal about in her op-ed.

The righteous Ukrainian people have written true account of Ukrainian nationalists war crimes that never had their Nuremberg trial purposely excluded on the insistence of western allies after WWII.

One of them was surprisingly Ukrainian-Canadian Wiktor Poliszczuk of Toronto,Canada who wrote a book entitled: “Bitter Truth: Shadow of Stepan Bandera over crime of Genocide” unfortunately I do not know about English translation of that book yet, originally it was written in Ukrainian and Polish languages.
    Here is a film on that subject [18+];
    https://youtu.be/5OJyKyinpks

Note that ethic cleansing advocating political theorists Doncov and Bandera are considered founding fathers of the Ukrainian Nazism. Bandera himself, now official national Ukrainian hero worshiped by people like Freeland, was freed in September 1939 from Polish prison in Brest Litovsk fled to Galicia (western Ukraine) after he was sentenced to prison for his organization of the assassination of Polish government minister just few years before. These we not democrats.

Let us not be fulled by Justin’s dancing prowess, Canada is an oligarchic state and Ukrainian oligarchy in Tar Sands oil business in the western provinces are part of oligarchic ruling elite in Canada and hence through Deep state security connection with the US are directing Canadian foreign policy of touchy feely government of dancing Trudeau. Canada was the country that grated asylum to the son of Bandera who continued fathers works. I bet Freeland knew him.

Arina Tsukanova brainwashed to write propaganda hate against Ukrainians…from the dark ages when history was hidden but now has come to light what Ukrainians already knew…….Arina,.stoop so low maybe you can not help it the brainwashing runs deep from Moscow…….should be ashamed to write this -in this day and age -still propaganda and ignorance about Ukraine and Ukrainians. But intelligent people know the truth.

Oh right, so Babi Yar was a ‘brainwashing’ myth and your hero Stefan Bandera working for the UK’s MI6 against USSR after WWII is simply more ‘post-truth’? Don’t think so. Arina T is writing against Nazi-sympathizing Ukrainians (like the good, self-righteous Canadian Freeland), not ALL Ukrainians…

    • February 28, 2017 at 13:17

Intelligent people rely on facts. This article presents facts. What’s your problem? – The truth has anti-Nazi bias? Like ziocons are always happy to conflate Judaism with zionism, same you are trying to conflate the honest Ukrainians with the neo-Nazi murderous thugs. Kiev PM is Groyzman, is not he? Kolomojsky was a financier of the neo-nazi battalion, was not he? Ukrainian gold was snatched after Nuland-Kagan did her magic of regime change in Ukraine (in a company with neo-Nazis). True or not? Ukraine is destined by the US to become a source of raw material and a playground for Monsanto. But most important, Nualnd-Kagan & Co. made Ukraine into a patsy against the non-existent Russian aggression. Ukraine had her chance and she blew it by following the promises of sweet cookies.
As for the despicable warmonger and liar “Chrystia” Freeland, try to debunk the facts that this article presents instead of insulting a hard-working and honest author.

I smell collaboration among “The Five Eyes” (the intelligence communities of UK,USA, Canada, Australia, NZ) and operations going all the way back to rat lines and efforts of the imperial financier community, via those intelligence operatives in service to them, to save their precious fascist/NAZI Project as the answer to the “Communist Scourge”; and as a “facelift” for old Empires living in modern times. This narrative I get from EIR. Reminds me of that History Channel show “Hunting Hitler” as mounting evidence suggests Hitler had an escape plan in place…and used it.

Many thanks to the author of this article. One of the best kept secrets of WWII is that MOST of the Ukrainian emigres that arrived in U.S. And Canada as “refugees” were Nazi and fascist sympathizers. A blind eye was deliberately turned as they were useful in the burgeoning cold war efforts against Stalin, the plans for which had laid before the war was over. Today, the descendents of those “recruits” are rabid Ukrainian nationalists who clandestinely constitute a large and influential right-wing political menace. They got plenty of traction during the Reagan administration, and have been an intractable force since then. And, their cultural worldview is not really “neo” Nazi. It’s decidedly vintage original. Get to know one personally, and you’ll be flabbergasted!

After the end of WW II, about 8000 OUN (Ukraine Nazis) members were secretly admitted into Britain at the request of a wealthy Ukrainian already resident there. One of the civil servants in charge noted that this would have deeply antagonized the Poles in Britain who had fought against Naziism had it been made public. Therefore the mass influx was kept secret. Details were released recently as the records were declassified.

There is some truth to that concept, but there is no reason to apply it to grandchildren who praise and emulate the skeletons in their closets..

“Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau fired his foreign minister Stephane Dion to make way for an ideological doppelganger for Nuland, Power, and Rice on the world stage: Chrystia Freeland, his trade minister. Dion’s policy of seeking to engage with Russia is what ultimately cost him his job as Ottawa prepares to host every anti-Trump instability operation it can muster for future operations against the Trump administration.” WAYNE MADSEN on 01/24/17 link below.

“Freeland’s closest friends cross party lines in Canada and they include the Liberal Party’s Zionist overseer, Irwin Cotler; Paul Grod, the president of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress; and Conservative Party foreign affairs spokesman Peter Kent.”

Irwin Cotler was banned in 2014 from entering Russia. Here’s what he said in response:

“I see my travel ban from Russia as a badge of honor, not a mark of exclusion.”

Paud Grod was also banned from Russia in 2014. And Freeland’s other friend, Peter Kent, had this to say:

“The Russians, with brutal disregard for civilian lives, have rescued the Assad Regime and although the fighting has paused, the? catastrophic battle for Aleppo has deepened prospects of further violence and civilian suffering.

“Russia has ignored the civilized world in its brutal support and rescue of the Assad Regime. United Nations members that have called for restraint, cease fires and lasting truces have seen all appeals ignored.”

All of her friends are on the same page, which is worrisome for Canada. Chrystia and two of her best friends are banned from Russia. As I said above, Justin Trudeau is not well-read, does not know history enough to be making these decisions on his own. Who is directing him? In fact, who is directing the world in the direction it is going in? Who are the dark forces behind these moves?

And like a stupid little school boy who is taking sides in a playground spat, Justin Trudeau is, without thinking at all, going to go against anything Trump stands for, even peace. This is what happens when vested interests place a unintelligent stooge out front. Who are these vested interests?

Freeland’s grandfather was allegedly able to get a visa only thanks to his sister who had crossed the ocean before the war. The family story told by Freeland portrays her grandparents as World War II victims, but that is not the real or full story.

At this point I realized something was seriously wrong with the story. Canada was a darned good ally during WW2, and has never (to my knowledge) been known as being soft on Nazis. So this nation taking in an important Nazi collaborator needed investigation.

Sad to say, my very first search hit pay dirt. It was to determine whether or not Freeland’s grandpa was a Catholic, and sure enough he was. I had known about the Vatican’s Nazi-Saving Rat Lines to South America, but that Canada was also an unwitting refuge for Good Catholic Jew Haters was an ugly revelation.

I’m beginning to get the impression that Canada got a pig-in-a-poke when they elected Justin Trudeau.

Unfortunately, the U.S. imported thousands of Nazis and Nazi sympathizers at the end of the war: people like scientists and engineers who were considered to be of use to the U.S. Werner von Braun was just one of them. Others, including politically influential people considered by the intelligence community to be useful in its anti-communist investigations and propaganda, were also imported.

The Nazis had an incredible war machine and the U.S. was eager to exploit it. How better than to import its top people.

One of the stranger aspects of our foreign policy is our attitude towards the Ukrainian nationalists with their Neo-Nazi’s at the tip of the spear, and our loving devotion to Bibi in Israel. I wonder how John McCain squares the two?
Or is he so stupid that he doesn’t know about it? Trudeau seems like a bright young man who’s interested in human rights, I wonder if he’s aware of the Neo-Nazi tie to the Ukrainian Nationalist movement, and the history of Crimea and it’s ethnic Russian majority?

JT cannot be expected to know these things(Neo-Nazi tie to the Ukrainian Nationalist movement, and the history of Crimea and it’s ethnic Russian majority?) as they don’t fit his world view which is clouded by the ignorance bred by privilege.

Tannenhouser – Justin Trudeau’s father (Pierre Elliot Trudeau) would have known the difference. He was a lawyer, extremely well-read and very intelligent. He actually knew what was going on in the world, knew world history, the background of world leaders, saw the different forces at play.

I do not see these traits in Justin Trudeau at all. Instead, I think Justin Trudeau would rather be singing Kumbaya around a campfire or hugging a human right, embracing anything that smacked of having a wounded wing, without the least bit of knowledge of the history behind it. Actually very clueless. As you say, a perfect gatekeeper. I’m sure that the elite would rather have a clueless gatekeeper than one with knowledge; they don’t question or fight back. His father must be rolling in his grave.

You’re right Peeair Trudeau, like most french speaking Quebecers of the time was a great admirer of old Adolf and the Nazi’s, he was a rabid anti semite and as history has shown a malicious anti English bigot. So yeah, Peeair did know what was goiung on in the world as you say. Peeairs parents were so concerned with young Peeairs odd behaviors as a child that they sent young Peeair to a psychiatrist. Peeair continued seeing his psychiatrist, usually once a week and sometimes more until his passing some 60 years later. At least Freiland’s family has a lot in common with Juthtins family and their admiration for the Nazi’s. Juthtin as you say is “clueless”, a real numbskull, a CBC actor and globalist puppet. The history of the collaboration between Nazis and Zionists goes back to before the founding of Israel. The Blue and White flag originated in a Nazi funded training camp (in Germany) where Zionists were trained for their invasion of Palestine.

There is a massive amount of documentation of the Nazi-Zionist collaboration, and even an existing letter from one of the early Zionist terrorist groups in Palestine (either Irgun or Lehi, if I recall) to Hitler proposing a formal alliance, that was written after the Holocaust was already known to be happening.

The Nazis wanted to get the Jews out of Europe, the Zionists wanted to get all the Jews to go to Palestine. Their aims were identical.

Trudeau suffers from the same thing Merkel, and the rest of the NATO allies suffer from the a huge down payment to be made on the NATO headquarters that from a topographic view looks like SS Trooper emblem. Lolita, I actually wrote a comment and left a link to an article for reference of my comment, and now it’s gone.

I mentioned with my comment of how John Brennan was in Kiev right before Flight MH17 went down.

What you wrote here Lolita made me think of how interesting it would be to make one of those timeline string connecting crime boards to see who went where before a specific event, and show how influence or rather who’s influence may have affected a certain events outcome. A lot of these coincidental happenings do appear in the news, if we pay attention to them. The trouble is these visits don’t make front page news. So somewhere buried in the news are the things we should learn more about….but then would anyone care, or for that matter want to delve into it and see what really took place?

Here’s something below that is interesting, and rather than leave the link (because I think leaving links on this comment board is sometimes the problem of moderation) I will leave this…..

“Representative and House Majority Leader Hale Boggs (Dem, La)
disappeared while on an airplane flight over Alaska in 1972.
The plane was never found (as of 1991, according to Curt Gentry).
It was young William Jefferson Clinton with links to the CIA who
drove Boggs in his limo to the airport to catch that plane.”

Now I don’t know how true that Boggs Clinton connection is, but it does raise more questions than it provides with answers…and there again, does anyone care what a tinfoiled hat wearing old man has to say?

If only you could have read my first comment which disappeared. Oh well everything happens for a reason.

          This — “https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/alt.crime/yRXavu8d-4s/xmybjdbO5” — is horribly bogus.

Completely so, as a matter of fact. I remember that day well enough (I’m Alaskan) and as much as I despise Bill Clinton and his klavern, nothing could be further from the truth — unless Clinton drove Representative Nick Begich and Boggs to the airport in Anchorage. In mid-October. That link asserts:

“At any rate, within two months of his return to the US, Boggs
was driven to Dulles airport by Bll Clinton where he boarded
a plane which disappeared somewhere over Alaska. Not a few
books on Clinton have asserted that he had CIA ties at this
          time.”
          The truth?
“Disappearance (From Nick Begich – Wikipedia)

Begich’s memorial at the Congressional Cemetery.
On October 16, 1972, he was one of four men on board a twin engine Cessna 310 along with House Majority Leader Hale Boggs, of Louisiana, when the airplane disappeared during a flight from Anchorage to Juneau. Also on board were Begich’s aide, Russell Brown, and the pilot, Don Jonz.[9] The four were heading to a campaign fundraiser for Begich.

In an enormous search effort, search and rescue aircraft of the United States Coast Guard, United States Navy, and United States Air Force were deployed to look for the four men and the missing Cessna 310. On November 24, 1972, after proceeding for 39 days, the air search was called off. Neither the airplane nor any of its four occupants were ever found. All were declared dead on December 29, 1972. The accident prompted Congress to pass a law mandating emergency locator transmitters (ELTs) in all United States civil aircraft.[10]

In November 2015, a Seattle Weekly story detailed the work of journalist of Jonathan Walczak, who since 2012 has investigated the plane crash and subsequent events in an effort to determine the fate of the flight that carried Begich and Boggs.
