….p.s., Bob Parry’s “online” newspaper, (my words), imo, sort of, kinda diminish the excellences of the “Investigative” journalism, that is Consortium News’ foundation! W/o a doubt, CN. delivers, daily; and, 2025 will “30 ” Years! Cheers!!!
My apologies for sounding so ‘flip,” i.e., “Wisdom is attained @ sixty, money at thirty; if only that were reversed.” Ethiopian proverb.
Just the other day, our University’s Professor of Journalism, advised, “There is “No, None, Zero,” “investigative journalism’ being worked & published in our local newspaper. Basically, the “paper,” is a tabloid w/a calendar of local events. The “World’s News,” takes up very little space. My city, mirrors America. It is riddled w/crime, homelessnesses, helplessness, addicts, academics, professionals, families, weed stores nka “flower” shops, basically, “the haves & the have nots,” live here!
Before “Covid,” we had a morning & afternoon, hard copy, paper. My son worked both “morning & afternoon” routes + Sunday Morning’s. Our papers were rock’n! Today, there’s no such thing!
