Israel resumed its genocidal campaign of annihilation in Gaza early Tuesday morning, killing hundreds in a matter of hours, including many children. As of this writing, the death toll from this assault is reportedly at least 413.
Israel is not even pretending that Hamas violated the ceasefire agreement it signed on to in January, saying instead that the decision to resume the onslaught was made because Hamas had been rejecting a significantly altered new agreement put forward by the Trump administration which would have allowed Israel to postpone moving toward a lasting peace.
“This follows Hamas’s repeated refusal to release our hostages, as well as its rejection of all of the proposals it has received from US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and from the mediators,” reads a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength,” Netanyahu said.
Of course we all know Israel is not really acting against Hamas; Israel is acting against the entire population of the Gaza Strip. The plan to eliminate all Palestinians in Gaza has been openly confessed to by the president of the United States, who went as far as posting a freakishly disturbing AI-generated music video on social media about the future of Gaza after its US-backed ethnic cleansing. Israel is simply making the enclave as dangerous and uninhabitable as possible so that everyone who lives there will be forced to either leave or die.
And this was all planned in advance. As soon as the Gaza ceasefire agreement was announced, the Netanyahu-aligned pundits in Israeli media were already saying they knew for a fact that the prime minister wasn’t going to allow the deal to move on to its second phase. After Netanyahu visited Washington and stayed for nearly a week, the Israeli outlet Haaretz reported that the prime minister was planning to sabotage the ceasefire deal upon his return.
Now here we are, watching Netanyahu completely torch the ceasefire after weeks of actively sabotaging it.
Not only was this all planned in advance?—?it was also propagandized for in advance. Israel and the western political-media class spent days pushing the atrocity propaganda narrative that Hamas had murdered child hostages Kfir and Ariel Bibas in the early weeks of the Gaza onslaught?—?not just murdered them, but murdered them with their bare hands.
Public outrage was deliberately drummed up around this narrative, despite no evidence ever being presented to the public that it was true. Western landmarks like the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower were lit orange at night in a transparent attempt to highlight the children’s whiteness for westerners who’ve been trained to ignore the deaths of darker middle eastern children. Israel supporters brayed for Palestinian blood as this babies-on-bayonets atrocity propaganda was pushed into their minds to manufacture consent for future atrocities.
And it was all a psyop. Zeteo’s Muhammad Shehada reported a month and a half ago?—?weeks before the Bibas narrative was unfurled?—?that Israel’s narrative managers appeared to be gearing up to use the Bibas kids to justify future bloodshed by pretending they didn’t know whether the children were alive or not, swearing vengeance if they were dead.
Hamas reported back in November 2023 that the Bibas children had been killed in an Israeli airstrike along with their mother. In December 2023 it was reported in the mainstream press that Hamas had offered to return their bodies to Israel but Israel refused, telling the press that “Israel will not address propaganda-based reports coming from Hamas”.
Lo and behold, the atrocity propaganda narrative about the Bibas children was rolled out a few weeks later when their bodies were returned by Hamas as part of the ceasefire agreement, just as Shehada had anticipated. And just last week, former Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant admitted publicly that he had known the Bibas kids were dead the entire time, directly contradicting the feigned shock of Israel and its spinmeisters when the bodies of the children were returned.
To this day, Israel has presented the public with no evidence of any kind that the Bibas siblings were murdered by the bare hands of their captors, rather than by the same Israeli airstrikes that were killing women and children every day in the same area as common sense would suggest.
Given Israel’s extensive history of lying about exactly this sort of thing, we can safely assume that the evidence was never presented because there isn’t any evidence.
They lied. They lied about murdered children in order to justify murdering children, just like they lied about beheaded babies on October 7 in order to justify killing thousands of babies in Gaza.
When it comes to Israel, every accusation is a confession.

Trump is just another US President, who is easy to dislike. Yes, he is the face of corporate fascism, like all other US Presidents before him. So maybe it is now the time for us to examine closely all those’ Great Pretender Presidents’ who pretend to be so fair and just.
What we are now seeing in Gaza, we saw in in Iraq. The US illegally invaded Iraq in 2003. The US still illegally occupies Iraq. In short, under four US Presidents, Bush Snr, Bill Clinton, Bush Jnr and Barak Obama the Iraqi people were denied food, clean water, use of electricity, medicines etc. 750,000 Iraq children died through from malnutrition, lack of medicines, and bombing of their country. Thousands of unarmed defenceless Iraqi people died, and thousands were tortured, badly injured and displaced.
Interestingly Iraq was a secular State, which the US the so-called pillar of freedom and democracy, turned into a sectarian State. The US achieved this by inviting both Iran and Israel into Iraq. Nobody says anything much about this these days. The lesson here is that the US uses and buys anyone and everyone when it suits them, and then turns on them when the time is ripe.
President Biden, a Democrat, sent the bombs to Gaza to murder 61,000 unarmed defenceless Palestinian people in 15 months. Yes, sixty-one thousand. Can one imagine! Trump is just another piece of nasty works carrying on the Democrats nasty works in support of US establishment and their mates the Israeli fascists, Another lesson we learn here is there is no difference between either major political parties in the US. Just like in Australia.
On US’ history of rendition we now see Trump carrying on the same fascist behaviour of other previous US Presidents. He has sent Mahmoud Khalil to Louisiana because he spoke out in support of justice for humanity.
Hope this adds to the general discussion on the folly of just concentrating on how we dislike one person. Because in this case he is just one amongst many before him.
Israel is always “justifying” its actions through lies and disinformation. It is part of their M.O. of fighting wars by deception. It doesn’t matter to them (or the lying media) that what they accuse their enemies of doing they themselves do a hundred times more! It’s hard to accept the murderous way in which Israel treats Palestinians and remains the “good guy”, thanks to a compliant media and Israel’s many “supporters”!

I make my views on genocide, JFK, the USS Liberty Incident, Jeffery Epstein and the NUMEC affair clearly obvious and did so rather carefully as to not insult anyone save the bully who commented on Anti-war Leftist’s comment about the declassification of all documents including Jeff Epstein file.
Enter the bully , which is my view of said bully. His comment accused AWL of a using a weird, even paranoid smear tactic. This person should know better, IMHO. In my response 2 days ago I left no doubt how I felt about these issues and why. What I didn’t say there was my the curiosity aroused in me. I am curious about the bully’s intent which I question because he seems to use a known sex offender, Epstein, to imply AWL did so to smear Israelis in general with Epstein in MHO avoid openly bringing Israelis in general into the conversation.
Being a very curios individual I have to wonder why. I’m being facetious of course. IMHO I know why, cowardness.
Now tto address he constant lying by the king of the dumpster fires and Bini. When folks lie constantly for the benefit of their agenda anyone who isn’t brain dead would be curios as to why! If they were not cowards they would actually justify their actions by stating their true beliefs and reasoning. Bernie Sanders currently has the best opinion of what needs to be done. The public must get itself educated to what the hell he is actually doing , register to vote. And Dimocrats, if they have any chance to survive , must get on the same page of music. I will not be holding my breath.
I do think if tramp gets enough pressure from Americans and the rest of the world he will make an error so egregious he will self destruct. He presents himself much as the time as someone clinging on to. the edge. If that happens the rest of us will have to deal with his remaining sycophants by mopping up!

Well said, except the last: Trump is completely uncontrollable by any action other than direct power based confrontation; he is a world unto himself! Like a flow of water, only dams and levies will direct its movement; a river can’t be reasoned with. Public opinion, forcefully presented in great numbers, can encourage those with some residual sense of conscience and shame to create real physically threatening restraints on him.
Trump and the Republicans were chosen with a big majority because of the things that he said he would do. He won and now mis doing exactly that what he said. You may think differently from him, but all this is applied democracy, nothing else. Instead of refusing to accept that and ranting about how a democracy functions, better prepare that in 4 years someone of your choice, who then obviously is not psychotic and anti-social obsessed, is chosen.
Trump wasn’t elected by a big majority; it was one of the smaller popular vote victories. The increases for the Republicans in the Senate were less than expected given the electoral advantage this time and the House was also a squeaker.

A footnote that I saw mentioned in news abroad. Bibi was scheduled to testify in one of his corruption trials. This was cancelled to the outbreak of war, which of course was on Bibi’s orders. How convenient.
I suppose now they should post Bibi’s court dates on the doors of bomb shelters as a public warning. There appears to be an increased liklihood of raining bombs just before those days.
The world would be a better place without NAZIyahu, Trump, Putin, Musk and a few others.
As you passionately document, each unaddressed turn of the screw is further movement toward our moral oblivion. It seems that only when these horrors are unambiguously delivered to our own doorsteps will we (the collective power of mass action) respond…far too late for the hundreds of thousands of innocent lives destroyed. And what is becoming more and more clear is that a large part of the human ‘excess’ in the world are in the plans to share the fate of the Palestinians, Sudanese, Congolese and others.
If the ‘savage murder’ of the Bibas children is Israel’s excuse for breaking the ceasefire, it’s not getting much traction. I’m hearing the aim is to get Hamas out of the way, from the likes of Israel and the BBC, and to get Palestinians out of Gaza, from the likes of Caitlin and US President Trump – so my firm guess is Israel would still be aiming for both even if all the Bibas family had been returned alive.
