WATCH: Scott Ritter — The FBI Raid on My Home

Scott Ritter has released the following video explaining the F.B.I.’s search and seizure at his home in New York State on Thursday.

Scott Ritter, a former U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq, journalist and Consortium News columnist, published the following video on his Substack page about the raid on his house Thursday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  In an editorial on Friday, Consortium News condemned the action against its columnist as a serious threat to press freedom.

    Bravo, MR Ritter.
Video was pulled by the time I got here.
Thankyou for pointing out the injustices and hypocracy in governance.
    Keep writing.

“Video was pulled by the time I got here”

Is there any better proof that youtube is an arm of the Deep State, who wish to silence Scott?

Cheney the Dick first called it The Shadow Government, which was quickly changed to The Deep State.

Joe Biden hates Scott “Scotty Boy” Ritter.

They have a long history (such as the congressional hearing– there first public interaction– where “Public Servant” then Senator Joe Biden dismissed UN “expert” Ritter’s findings that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, noting that “this is the reason we get to ride in the limousines and you don’t” and noting they had made their decision (to go to war).

“when a President does it, it is not against the Law”– as Nixon noted. Biden obviously subscribes to this (despite all his statements to the contrary– or maybe they only apply to Trump, the only “threat to our ‘Democracy'”?)

One just has to look at all the whistleblowers who have run for their lives from Biden (examples include Tara Reade– who pointed out Biden’s p*ssy grabbing, received death threats and fled to Russia, and Gal Luft, who reported the China corruption of the Bidens (of which he was a part), ran briefly for his life, and is now arrested for “FARA violations”. There are other whistleblowers of corruption and extortion by the Bidens in Ukraine (with Burisma) and Romania and in China; Hunter was even working with the wife of the Mayor of Moscow, one of the richest oligarchs in Russia. But I’m sure the Bidens have filed FARA papers for all their ‘soft corruption’ (as Krystal Ball calls it). Hardly any coverage by State Media, and the DOJ has ruled back in February that Joe Biden cannot be prosecuted, although he is the “best he’s ever been”.

they had to let julian assange* go and come for scott ritter now?

scott ritter’s relentless appeals for peace make
    warmongers quite uncomfortable, everywhere.

i just found out that a truly democracy-, peace- and fact-oriented
website in my EU country was discredited as a right-wing initiative
and was stripped of its non-profit status: advocacy for peace is
utterly unwanted. it was when JFK spoke of “peace for all time!”
and it is now that the US of A want the world to prepare for the
big showdown with russia and china …

much to my dismay and quite against my will,
f.lawmakers in my country prepare to station
state of the art US hypersonic missiles on my
    country’s soil as of 2026.
    warmongering at any cost.

Remember this instance the next time republicans appoint a SCOTUS justice.

Stay strong as you have already displayed for all to see,

Huh? What do Republicans have to do with a Democratic administration in the executive branch raiding a journalist?

Not that the Republicans have a leg to stand on, considering Trump was in office when charges were filed against Julian Assange.

But the point is, it doesn’t matter who wins the election. The permanent unelected intelligence community will continue to do whatever the heck it wants, no matter which party is in power. They have no fear or respect for elected officials, the voters who put them in office, or the constitution itself.

Steve you will have go figure out the connection between the most activist SCOTUS in history, which heads to most unjust Dept. of justice in history and the current intelligence community own your own.

Given the time and space I might be able to explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you.

Suffice to say, in my opinion, you have some catching up to do on how this totally bogus justice system has came to it’s current state of corruption.

Just remember this, in my opinion, it damned sure does matter who wins this next presidential election.

… or SCOTUS for that matter. Last I checked, SCOTUS doesn’t have any own jackbooted thugs to harass journalist. That’s the executive branch’s bailiwick.

Assuming you are clueless is no longer an assumption on my part.

Your comment “That’s the executive branch’s bailiwick.” is irrelevant at this point in time.

The Deep State took over calling the shots in D.C. when Gerald Ford took over for Nixon. Bush 41 was present most of the time advising those who advised the hapless Ford.

Study your history with the energy of critical thought and you might get it. I have my doubts though.

Did you care or have you ever heard about the Safari Club? Ever hear of Bush 41? Ever hear of BCCI? I could go on but most here know where I’m coming from already.

Like I’ve said I can explain it, with documentation, but I cannot understand it for you. Enjoy your bliss!

The only BAD war to these warmongers and war criminals is NO war! Anyone who throws a wrench into their monstrous system will be punished accordingly. Looks like the 1st Amendment only applies if it doesn’t threaten power. Society based on lies will make TRUTH its number one enemy!

Thanks to Scott for providing an excellent demonstration of how corrupt our ‘Deep State’ is (and has been for a long time now). This also demonstrates what Trump was up against before and during his term and I hope that he can manage to drain that swamp more effectively during his second. At first I just thought he was our best opportunity to start getting rid of the corrupt Democratic establishment (not that the Republican establishment is much better but at least it’s less solidly entrenched). Now I can better appreciate what he was up against and the more evidence there is of that and the more he can be seen to be attempting to bring it to heel may help him gain some support from people who might not now be able to appreciate how he might contribute to helping save our democracy (very much contrary to the propaganda that seeks to characterize him very differently).

At first I only saw Trump as a means toward my goal of freeing the country from its completely corrupt Democratic establishment domination (they are so accomplished at using behind-the-scenes maneuvering to mask this that it never really shows to people paying only superficial attention, and the Republicans just fill their half of the game being played on us). I don’t expect Trump to suddenly turn into the kind of seriously progressive leader that I want to have but he still might help keep the Democratic establishment from continuing to prevent such a leader and Congress from developing.

May sound like a pipe dream given how evil our government has been becoming for at least the past several decades, so as food for thought what other strategy might be more promising right now? The evil duopoly has for those decades proven far, far too proficient at manipulating us. Putting one’s head in the clouds of socialism may be more comfortable but hasn’t produced any effective change any time at all recently.

I suggest Consortium News and anyone concerned about Scott Ritter closely follow (and if possible attend) the September 3, 2024 trial of Omali Yeshitela and the Uhuru 3. (See. hxxps://handsoffuhuru.org/ )

Scott is lucky he’s not a Black community activist, because when the FBI raided the St. Louis home of the 82 year old Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party, they terrorized the neighborhood with flash bang grenades, surrounded the house with troops armed with automatic weapons, broke down his door, almost hit his wife with a drone, pinpointed their chests with red laser dots, handcuffed them and took all their electronic equipment, phones, records, and eventually charged them with acting as foreign agents for Russia.. The FBI repeated this terrorizing process at six other locations of the AFSP and their white supporters.

Yes, all this for much the same charges Scott is facing. But you see, the Uhur 3 had done horrible things like build basketball courts, a bakery, a used furniture store, housing for the poor and formerly incarcerated, and WORST OF ALL, run a candidate in a St. Petersburg FL election (thus stealing potential votes from the Democratic Party.). Oh yeah, and the APSP had opposed the US and NATO for their role in fomenting the war in Ukraine. Just like Scott.

Maybe that’s why the NYTimes and other mainstream media are doing a news white-out on the Uhuru 3 case. There will be a protest in front of the NYT on Wednesday, August 14.

Thankyou Sheila for those great websites. This is the first time i heard of that raid on the Uhuru homes/offices. And let us not forget the words “socialist party” are terrifying to capitalists and warmongers.

And at least Scott Ritter is receiving attention from alternative media, if not State Media.

The Uhuru group receiving hardly any coverage in comparison for their “FARA violations” (which only apply to political opponents.)

    Fantastic Scott
Just finished reading the post on Consortium News prior to watching this video. Some of my friends and I are getting together this weekend to petition the AG to proffer a Constitutionally mandated restraining order against any further violations of your rights and require the immediate return of all of your wrongfully confiscated personal property.
Stay safe, be careful, and Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do.
    As Usual,

She was followed by air marshals and bomb dogs on a number of flights. She was singled out as a terror threat under the “”Quiet Skies” program. Her and her husband’s boarding passes were marked with the “SSSS” designation which stands for Secondary Security Screening Selection.” They were forced into extensive “random” searches lasting as long as 45 minutes.

The only journalist to write anything substantial about it that I know of is Matt Taibbi on his Substack.
