WATCH: Melbourne Welcomes Assange Home

Julian Assange was born and raised in Queensland but made Melbourne his home as an adult, where his return to Australia was celebrated on July 3, his 53rd birthday.

Assange’s father, John Shipton, was among those who spoke at the victory party. Antoinette Lattouf, an ABC journalist fired for a tweet in support of Gaza, also spoke.

A confession extorted out of a prisoner using torture has NO validity.
Julian Assange was forced to plead guilty to espionage against the USA, otherwise he would have died in prison. That plea bargain was a confession extorted out of a prisoner after 12 years of torture by AngloAmerican warmongering gangsters, rubber stamped by their sham kangaroo court. It has NO validity.
The US first amendment protects publishers who post truthful information in the service of public good. The US establishment is a rabid dog that ignores its own laws, quite apart from ignoring international law by supporting genocide by Zionists.
Why was Assange released now? What is the catch?

So happy for Julian and his family. Julian was not freed. Like Nelson Mandela who wasn’t “freed” he was released. Julian was released and speech is still not freed.
