Support Consortium News

Thanks to our loyal and generous readers and viewers, Consortium News has continued to bring leading coverage of Julian Assange, the war in Ukraine, the changing world order, peace breaking out in the Middle East, and much, much more.

It has been a tumultuous and dangerous year so far, with the painful birth of world that is rejecting the decades-long dominance of the United States. A new economic and diplomatic world is emerging in reaction to the escalation of the Ukrainian war.

The passing of influence in the Middle East from the U.S. to China and Russia is already seeing diplomatic breakthroughs, displacing the chaos Washington has sowed.

More and more presidents, parliaments and the public are rallying to rescue Julian Assange from prison, as well as their rights to free expression.

Consortium News has been there chronicling it day by day, with a perspective nowhere to be found in the mainstream. Despite efforts by the establishment to derail us, we are still standing and growing stronger.

And it’s all because of your support.  So we ask you again to keep us going with a generous donation during our 2023 Spring Fund Drive. Thank you.

Consortium News is important for the significant reporting and analysis it provides. And perhaps more importantly, for the standards of journalistic integrity and professionalism it upholds. Because in today’s world, where the corporate media has been so obviously captured by forces bent on deceiving the public, betraying journalism and the 1st Amendment, and sabotaging democracy, a reference frame for honesty and justice is supremely important.

I believe the 1st Amendment is a rock upon which the forces of deception can be destroyed, and Consortium News is one of the central forces of integrity in that battle.
