If Trump or any US military were running Putin’s war there would not be remaining a single bridge, road, port. airfield. War over in a couple of days. ‘Western staff should leave Kiev’ – have they left? Putin is unfortunately a busted flush.
Foreign embassies in Ukraine are off limits of attack as they are sovereign lands but Rusian lands are not sovereign so OK for attack. Very nice for NATO and the US.
The spy that Trump released was probably held for years on behalf of the navy and the USS Liberty attack.
Outside of Canada it is probably not well known that Mark Carney, Canada’s Goldman Sachs prime minister, bragged on May 28, 2026, at the Economic Club of New York that Canada is “leading NATO’s multinational brigade on the front lines in Latvia.”
Carney understands the solution to the “rupture” he is always talking about — U.S. inability to continue imposing its military, financial, political, and ideological will on the global south, although Carney formulates his “rupture” as U.S. abandonment of its so-called “allies” to what he imagines to be implacable ambitions by Russia and China to dominate the world — his solution is that Canada’s “commitment to Article 5 is unwavering. So we’re working with our NATO allies – including the Nordic-Baltic Eight – to further secure the alliance’s northern and western flanks.”
I personally find this a terrible idea for obvious reasons and also because Carney is committed — not least to shovel trillions into MIC corporations and giant institutional “investors” — to militarizing Canada’s economy, including locating the EU’s MIC in Canada, where launching missiles to destroy it would be particularly problematic for targets of NATO’s aggression, given NORAD and the U.S. nuclear arsenal.
Thanks for this fellow Canadian. With our complicit corporate media and opposition parties in parliament Canadians are sleep walking into a militarized economy that we know will lead us to a future we are going to regret. As unemployment grows for young people, the military will be one of the few options available. It’s called the poverty draft.

I do not think that Carney believes that about Russia. NATO loves war. Can’t seem to get enough of it. Whatever the slogan that makes that happen will do for tools like him. If you say something enough times, you program it into reality
When it is echoed sufficiently in what passes for legacy media. And war serves so many needs for the criminal oligarchy. They don’t really make an effort to hide it these days.
I have the same problem as Scott did regarding the time difference. I always have to watch the recorded interviews after the event.
As far as Iran and the bomb scenario; if the report is true, i don’t believe Iran would bluff about it. But like Ray says, i have been wrong in the past. Great interview, thankyou all.

“Vladimir Putin has rejected an offer from Volodymyr Zelenskyy to hold a face-to-face meeting, insisting instead that Russia will achieve its war goals in Ukraine, including seizing all of the eastern Donbas region.
Speaking at the St Petersburg economic forum, the Russian president described the open letter from his Ukrainian counterpart containing the offer as rude. He refused to use Zelenskyy’s name, referring to him only as its author. Asked if they could meet to discuss an end to the conflict, Putin replied: “So far I see no point.””
