The picture of the King of England addressing the descendants of the Continental Congress speaks more than a thousand words. The message is that America is not what it used to be. America is no longer a rebellion of freedom and democracy against the authoritarian rule of a monarch. America now sucks up to Kings.
There was a time in America where it was inconceivable that an American President would attend a coronation in London, and it was equally inconceivable that the King of England would be welcome in Congress. That was when America was Great!

A few good laughs there at the expense of the bloody brits. Of course charlie boy is spouting government propaganda. All the scripts are written for them. As Scott said, a complete waste of time, energy and money. Nothing more than a “public relations” stunt.
Instead of railing at Europe, Japan and Australia for not helping open Hormuz, Trump should pile the responsibility on to Israel as instigator of the debacle.

That’s the sign on the President’s Desk. It still is. Even if the current King of America has gilded the White House and removed the physical sign from the Golden Desk in the Golden House. The buck still stops with the President. It is not ‘Israel’ that is the ‘instigator’. The responsibility lies firmly with the President of the United States for his own actions. The President is the only one who is on a ballot. You can not let a deceiving President try to blame someone else, anyone else, for his own decisions and relations.
Ahem. the Congress is on the ballot, too.
Actually, as I understand international law, the US and its military from the top down are in violation of international law when attacking, invading another country that has not attacked or invaded us.
The military has already been in violation of international law.
However, in this instance, if they are ‘commanded’ to act in violation of international law they must, in fact, decline.
