Here’s a comment not so much on what was said, but rather what is not said. And not just in this discussion, but in every discussion, every writing. What I mean is that as time goes by, with all the attention on the ins and outs of the war, the details, the consequences, we tend to neglect the essential point that this war is a war of aggression, defined in the Nuremberg proceedings as the ultimate war crime, encompassing all the evils that result from it. We should take a page from the other side’s playbook, which barely lets a sentence out of their mouths, or on a page, without the word “terrorist” applied to Iran. In the same way, we should be constantly reminding our listeners and readers of the important fact that the US and the Israelis are guilty of the worst of all crimes, a WAR of AGGRESSION, and that Trump and Bibi, and many more, are war criminals who should be hauled before the ICC.

I’m sure the unintended outcome of ME war(s) is the probability of using less fossil fuel that is heating the planet and powering armies. We will have to face this in the near future to survive, if we can avoid nuclear exchanges.

The whole thing from 9/11 on has been a crusade as a religious messianic view of the end of the Cold War meaning we have a missionary goal of full spectrum dominance of the world civilization that now is fear of BRICS and the loss of control of western civilization over the centuries of our profiteering on the Planet ignoring a wholistic symbiotic necessity.

Roto-Reuters news agency has become more useful with the US versus European split on the Iran war. They no longer just echo American propaganda. Reuters was thus quick on this story to point out that there was US and Israeli coordination on these attacks. And smart analysts around the world had by the time of that story already pointed out the impossibility of Israel attacking anything without US CENTCOM being very aware.
There is a distraction going on. A blame game between Israel and the USA. It looks like Americans trying to provide their rears some CYA cover by blaming Israel for the war or specific attacks. The blame game is interesting, as this is something that only happens on the side that is losing the war. A side that is winning a war does not do this. But beyond noticing its existence, it is best not to pay much attention to the specific ‘blames’ that are being tossed around.
There is no real difference between America and America’s 51st state. No matter what the World’s Greatest Liar happens to say on any given day.
This asks the wrong question. It is not whether the US was aware. There is no question it was aware of Israel’s attack. The question is whether the US approved the attack. Some reports say the US did while Trump and Netanyahu say Israel acted alone. Is the destruction of Iran’s oil infrastructure in America’s interests? It would not seem to be if the US wants to seize Iran’s oil industry. The US goal is to overthrow the government and seize the oil among other things. In the end it is not very important whether the US approved it or not. The point is that Israel is driving the war, as Joe Kent and Marco Rubio said (and which Ray McGovern agrees to), even if Trump and his cronies have their own stakes in it.
