I’m very, very grateful for this conversation among such thoughtful humans. I’ve followed you all for some years now, and your perspectives are immensely helpful in helping us all figure out what’s real in this increasingly chaotic world. And I loved Ray’s visual of the current “isosceles triangle.” The big picture that sprang to mind in response was the notion that since 9/11, the lives of the citizens of Russia and the lives of the citizens of China have gotten steadily better (in China dramatically so) while the lives of the citizens in The West have gotten steadily worse. I seem to have that image because for many years now, I’ve understood the “leadership” of The West to be elements of the world’s longest continuously running, most successful and most psychopathic organized crime syndicate. The one still headquartered in The City of London. The one that founded the British East India Company and used it to plunder the planet for more than 300 years. “I was only following orders” is not recognized as a valid defense. The point being, there are layers of others happily going along with the orders from the SOW. The SOW and the POTUS did a bit of a purge, with their attendance-mandatory sales meeting for generals. But, they only had to purge a few dissenters. Not a massive turn-over in the command. IIRC, the one prominent one was the Admiral in the Gulf of Mexico that resigned rather than be in a position to be charged with murder.
But, it’s not just the person giving the orders. It’s them, and everyone down the line that pulls a trigger or pushes a button for them. They have not yet created their robotic army that can be run by one person programming the machine, even if they have simulated one with discipline and mental conditioning. It’s still not a valid defense to say that one was only following orders.
