Sydney police unleashed a torrent of violence against citizens who were protesting the presence in their city of a man who leads a nation condemned for ongoing genocide.

The film shows the first confrontation between Sydney police and protesters at the end of the rally protesting the visit of Israeli President Issac Herzog to Australia. It escalates from there.

Australia is now officially an Authoritarian State. Well, they always were, since Monarchy is always an Authoritarian form of government. And even as a member of the “commonwealth”, they still let Epstein’s friends in Windsor Palace change the Aussie government when too much democracy moved it too far towards the people in the 1970’s. Australia is the country that never rebelled against Monarchy, but only changed the suit it wears and the flag it carries.
In this, Australia cements its role in the Authoritarian Axis, alongside the USA, the UK and the other Authoritarian Members of Trump’s Board of Genocide.
I don’t have the words to describe the violence used by the police against peaceful protesters.
Shame on the Australian government for welcoming a criminal of war like Herzog and for using violence against peaceful protesters.

Because Australia now has the most totalitarian media in the western world, it is most important we can tune into sites such as Consortium News. It is heartening to see some of my fellow Australians having their say on the matter too.
In Australia the two major newspapers are owned by Rupert Murdoch, and Nine entertainment. Both owners are racists, reactionaries and warmongers. All mainstream media in Australia support Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people.
The Guardian Australia basically are part of the reactionary establishment behind all their pretensions
not to be. Lately as a cover they throw out a pro-Palestinian article more often.
The Australian ABC relays to us every press release they receive from Israel practically verbatim And along with Murdoch and his ilk, they still keep talking about two sides in Gaza, while we clearly view on our screens only one side, Israel, murdering defenceless Palestinian people on a daily basis.
History shows Australia is the US’s little shadow. When our leaders stand next to an American leader, they light up. It is embarrassing to watch them. Our leaders have always assisted the US in their illegal invasions and mass genocides; particularly in countries which have attempted to have a social agenda for their people.
Silly strategy the Major Events act. Giving the constabulary permission to assault women. Poor management of energy . Silly man Minns. No wisdom there.

In general, one can conclude that the police forces inside the US Empire become the IDF wherever Israeli political leaders travel.
Pathetic. Even more evidence that Australia is not a truly sovereign country: it is a vassal of the US. Aussie politicians are either taking bribes, or are being threatened, or both. Human rights? democracy? Yeah, right.

“Feudal” is a better description than Colonialist.
Colonialist implies a relationship between a Colony and a Mother Country in the classic Imperialist fashion. You’ve connected both a colony and the mother country together into one, and called it a colony. Its been interesting to read non-American opinions lately about how Israel is becoming more and more a colony and less and less independent. King Donald does not allow independent Dukes, nor even other opinions to his Golden and Superior Intellect nurtured by thousands of Big Macs.
Of course, over my lifetime the people of the USA have become more and more like residents of a Third World Country, or in the slang of this hemisphere, a Banana Republic. But, that’s an internal problem and not a situation where we need to free ourselves from some distant Imperialist power. Which is why describing this as a Feudal society is closer to the mark. The Oppressors of a Colony are usually in some distant Kingdom, while the Oppressors in a Feudal society are in the Castle on the hill.
As always, the police are protecting the genocidal fascists. That’s how they earned the moniker pigs in the antiwar demos in the 60s. Nothing has changed.
