I watch these men of conscience and wonder where the rest are. I am sure they are not the only ones.
I speak in my community about “Dancing Israelis” and they have no idea of what I am talking about. When I started speaking up, I found how alone I was and am. However, what revolves around 9/11 is fascinating, but there’s no convincing of many, and guess best way to fight is the “common ground” and what that entails. We better find each other soon or we are doomed.

Listened to the whole/Lauria/Lawrence interview. Two honest and well informed Americans discussing the important issues of today.

I’m not holding my breath for anything good to happen between Imperial America and the subservient states in NATO, henchmen for Western capitalists and imperialists.

What’s really alarming how the Australian government is under control of Aussie Jewish Zionists. Money and propaganda rules the day in too many countries.

The Russian Federation will prevail in the Anglo/American Zionist war in Ukraine. They have to! V. Putin has a lot of patience in dealing with the deceitful West in my opinion. Let’s hope he and the Politboro and General Staff of the armed forces know what they’re doing.

Looks like Europe is performing the tasks that Hegseth assigned to them. I wonder how many more Russian tankers will be detained.

The Europeans come across as well mannered and considerate-when in comparison to one Donald J Trump-his speech at Davos was mostly unintelligible drivel.
Mark Carney in comparison came across as intelligent and respectful.
My point I tuned out from Donald J Trump-but paid attention to Mark Carney for the above given reasons,
I am a very elderly British female currently living in Australia-so are no longer able to make the necessary scathing remarks about Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
I do make small monetary contributions from time to time to CN.
    Keep up your excellent work.

The censorship campaign is clearly aimed at silencing criticism of Zionism. Starmer, Macron, and Merz are not independent crazies, but corrupt puppets following the same Zionist script. They are not controlled by the pipsqueak state of I*real, but by the powerful financiers behind it. It was founded with financing from a well-known bank with branches in London, Paris, and Frankfurt. I’d like to see CN put one of its investigative reporters on that money trail. Let’s get past the “security state” cover story.

We want Russia to submit to western hegemony and the dominance of our cultural, economic, military and religious system and prevent Asia and the rest of the thyroid world to have their own base in a global system. This is related to the fall of communism some think was gods given Roman Orthodox intervention for it’s long term imperial project linked with western empires over the ages. It includes destruction of secular society in general for religious full spectrum dominance for rites over rights.

One thing that would seem to bear some mention as to why Putin might be losing patience in how his military targets Ukrainian infrastructure has to do with the enormous pressure he is under from his military, his advisors, the parliament & the people who are furious about US betrayals & the attempt to assassinate their president. They want him to hit back hard, especially in Kiev, to finish the operation. If you listen to Scott Ritter, some are even calling for nuking Europe. That seems kind of important.

It would be absolutely ridiculous to dismiss such considerations.

Putin is routinely demonised in the west when the situation requires a sober assessment of the man.

Putin’s demand that troops of the UK and France should not be based in the Ukraine seems to me to be entirely understandable. Personally, I think that insisting on such deployments is a deliberate attempt on the part of Starmer to prevent a settlement.

Patrick, you have put it perfectly once again:
In commenting on David Brooks recent piece in NYT you said of the National Security State (buying Greenland and other publicly made statements: “That’s not how we want to do this.” In this phrase you captured what I have claimed over and over: Trump is not doing anything that has not been done by prior Presidents and Administrations for years and years … from the first settler-colonial project, the founding of this country. It is simply that the veil has been lifted.

Perhaps one of the most important and possibly impactful actions that we can take is to disabuse the public of the lies that Sanger repeats. Lies that so many in the US believe. The veil needs to be lifted. The facts, the truth exposed fully … and hopefully a thrid party will prevail in the next few elections and beyond, bringing about some of the much needed structural and process changes in our government and the UN.

Re: Russia’s caution. I find it interesting that even NPR with its Russophobia when reporting Russian missile attacks will very often include statements such as : ” 2 civilians were killed and 12 injured”. This, itself, indicates significant restraint on the part of Russia’s targeting. Now compare with the daily death toll of Palestinians- either Gaza or West Bank

Really interesting point. Thanks for sharing it. One must read between lines and analytically in order to get at least a somewhat full perspective today.

Very true John. As we know, there are worthy victims and unworthy victims when reporting on casualties. Putin’s restraint is under appreciated.

Given his spiteful comments on British soldiers, has anyone commented on Trump’s shyness re military recruitment due to his devastatingly crippling bone spurs? British losses due to friendly fire deserve a mention at this point.

France and Germany weren’t vassals on the illegal Iraq War but they had to follow NATO on the rescue of CIA covert weaponization of Afghanistan for mercenaries from all over the Middle East. Then things got much worse from there in addition to the Tour de France American frying.

Off topic, but perhaps not really…

The great Michael Parenti has just passed away at 92.

    He will be greatly missed.
