One thing I missed in this discussion regarding Venezuela is the likelihood that the US Deep State wants to control the flow of their oil a similar fashion to that in which they now control the oil coming out of Iraq: by requiring all Iraqi oil sales to go through an account at the New York Federal Reserve. The details may differ, but I suspect that they’ve got a similar scheme in mind.

For sure that was the world last week, and a few before that as well. Thanks for the rundown!
Good question regarding who exactly causes Trump to do what he does. You can’t discuss them, because they’re hidden. Well, Max B says he thinks Trump fears Israel. Anyway it seems to me more things that are hidden [key things] aren’t people but processes the movements of which we can barely get a glimpse of. Like for instance some innards of AI. I’ve either heard or read that sometimes it’s IMPOSSIBLE to fix a section in an AI’s programming prone to cause errors involving a particular subject. They can’t get to it, and don’t know where it is. So, as far as I can see, every time Pegasus picks a target in Gaza it’s making a mistake [some AI in Israel should have advised BB to shut the whole thing down, and draw up a peace plan]. Another process I’m thinking of (seemingly less discussed than the former) are the super fast fiber and microwave connections plugged into exchange matching engines (high frequency trading). You can’t stop’em, and they’re gonna keep turning over wealth to folks who are already billionaires. Another never ageing unswerving thing the wealthy have set up as a lord over us is algorithm-determined-advertising (surveillance capitalism). NOTHING will deter investors’ obsession these days with matching products to customers…until the day when the customers run out of dough? The thing is these are mechanisms the billionaire saviors believe in why? Why as far as I can see is because the billionaire saviors are in awe of a particular branch of [what McLuhan said came across as tantamount to] magic…electronic magic. And they feel most of us are lucky simply to be anywhere in the magic show audience.
It’s not like the rest of the planet hasn’t fallen for these idols/rituals/processes. In Russia missiles that can steer (accurately) while they’re doing 3000 mph in air, vs in space [though I don’t know of any living president on the planet who’s pushed hawk philosophy to the side more…trying to attain peace than Putin]. Also in Russia, the automatic [no humans involved] “dead hand” launching system. In Israel you see this “magic” paired up with the 007 zeitgeist, the beepers. Thanks to Hollywood we all got swelled heads over having the smartest spies, and before that the drama of beating Germany, Russia never having had a part in what we watched (probably one of the biggest illusions ever put over on any comparable number). Nazism is a thing to think about. We the ones who defeated it [wrong] will now be challenged really by no one…we came to think. And the children and grandchildren of the Jewish settlers of Palestine, having had relatives who were victims of it, are now excused if they volunteer to become psychological victims of it themselves, embracing its principles and techniques (without the logos and terminology). Something to think about.
On a larger scale there are the boom and bust cycles we can’t get out of as well. Causes are kept hidden.

Speaking of Stephen Miller, but only now discovering the above video and these comments, the resemblance of Miller to Reinhard Heydrich is beyond casual coincidence. So much so I constructed a side-by-side photo comparison of both men back during DJT’s first term and found my acceptance of human reincarnation having gone from “Who knows?” to “No doubt about it.”

I find it distressing that you go to videos rather than print. I read Consortium News daily, but I can read something 20 times faster than watch a video. You are asking me to waste time to digest your ideas, like read it in one minute or watch facial expressions 20 minutes for same info. Don’t Dumb me down. Not progress.
Well Rick. You can do both. You are not obligated to watch the videos. And sometimes it’s beneficial to listen to others’ views to ascertain if they are in line with yours. Or they may reveal different ideas.
If you feel left out, perhaps try putting it on in the background while you do housework or something else that can keep you from getting so terribly upset from having to sit and watch facial expressions.
Or multitask, as I sometimes do by reading a news article while listening to another.
Either way, nobody has asked you to do anything and you’re not being forced to watch (if you were, I’d understand your rant), so perhaps it’s not CN that’s ‘dumbing you down’.
Agreed. Treat the video as a podcast. You do not have to sit glued to the screen for the entire time! Good grief. As for ‘ dumbing down’, I do not think that we can accuse CN of that!
