Ex-Israeli intelligence official Ari ben-Menashe tells CN Live! the U.S. Justice Dept.’s notice that it has no case against clients of the late, sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein is all tied up in the politics of the Gaza war. Watch the replay.
Former Israeli defense intelligence official Ari ben-Menashe joins CN Live! on Thursday morning at 9am EDT, 2pm BST to discuss the latest development in the Jeffery Epstein case and its implications for Israel’s war on Gaza. Hosts: Elizabeth Vos and Joe Lauria. Producer: Cathy Vogan.
On Sunday night the U.S. DOJ leaked to the media a two-page memo that seeks to end the drama of the pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein and whether there was evidence, particularly video evidence, that Epstein had blackmail material on a list of very powerful men, showing them committing illegal acts with underaged girls.
Also on Sunday night as the memo was leaked, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was arriving in Washington for a series of meetings, still going on, at the White House, the Congress, the State Department, the Pentagon and with other powerful actors. Netanyahu is seeking continued U.S. backing in his quest to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population and to continue his war against Iran.
The DOJ Epstein memo said that its “systematic review revealed no incriminating “client list.” There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”
The memo seeks to disconnect Epstein’s crimes from any of the powerful men whom he associated with. “Consistent with prior disclosures, this review confirmed that Epstein harmed over one thousand victims. Each suffered unique trauma,” memo says.
None of the thousands of hours of video evidence Epstein filmed with hidden cameras in his various residences will be released or even discussed. The court seal on these videos “served only to protect victims and did not expose any additional third-parties to allegations of illegal wrongdoing.”
The memo also says that video from the jail where Epstein was being held in Manhattan showed that no one entered his cell area on the night that he died and thus the DOJ ruled that he died by suicide. Case closed. Or is it?
Here to connect Netanyahu’s visit with the release of the DOJ report is Ari ben-Menashe who is a former official with Israel’s defense intelligence agency.

“Interesting?” The owl asks, “Whose plan was this anyway?” *“Is it better to kill people outright or to starve them slowly? Which would look better?” The bird tweets, “no f/kidding, eh?” BUT, “when “we” hear it fm the “other” side, i.e., Ari ben-Menashe, it’s a completely different thing, “Back Trump over the *“P E A C E”/ceasefire in Gaza. Back him, in full.” AbM
“If, you listen, you will hear,” STOP!!!” Just do it. STOP! Interesting is the “genocide,” from the river to the sea, Ari ben-Menashe calls it, “kick out all the Palestinians.” “What’s happening,” “Stop the killing in Gaza.” “Ceasefire.” “The American adminin$tration is “trying” to bring end to war in Gaza.”
M.I.A., Love & Trust. Everybody, knows, 80% of Israel favors the obliteration of the Palestinians’ nation, i.e., MAY 5, 2025, “Two of five” [2 of 5] “Gaza aid trucks carried burial shrouds, NOT food.” [THIS IS NOT] humanitarian aid; it is preparation for mass death. Gaza is being buried, not fed,” Ramy Abdu, president of the Geneva-based rights organization. Jordan Daily, 5.25.25.
Please, Ari ben-Menashe just “STOP!” “Joe Biden owns this.” ‘The US president” [#42-#47] “owns every despicable aspect of the calamity unfolding in Gaza perpetrated by his country’s ever reliable and obedient proxy, Israel.” 10.19.23 Andrew Mitrovica @ hXXps://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2023/10/19/joe-biden-owns-this
Thank you.
It is surprising how much Adelson’s company’s donations to Trump have become either an anti-Semite trope or reflect TDS.
People seem to have forgotten that Joe “I am a Zionist!” Biden and Antony “I come to Israel as a Jew” Blinken fully supported the Palestinian Genocide for 15 months (their death toll is closer to 200,000 Palestinians even if Kamala, who said nothing would change, had won). If you go to OpenSecrets.org and compare funding, Kamala received almost twice as much as Trump, much (most?) from Zionist Jewish donors’ companies. Black women, the super rich and Jewish voters (over 60%) were the only groups to strongly favor Kamala over Trump.
There is little difference in the Clinton/ Biden/ Kamala and Trump regimes, all of which have married into the Tribe and put Israel’s interests above America’s. Statistically with Jewish being only 2.4% of the population (but about a quarter of America’s billionaires) it looks like the political marriages of the Middle Ages, with Chelsea, Hunter and Ashley, Kamala and Ivanka all married to and some converting to Judaism. Or maybe it’s love? Definitely a good thing for Israel.
Alfredo Rodriquez stole Epstein’s Black Book ledger detailing his operation (both girls and clients) in 2010 or 2011 and tried to sell it for $50K. He was imprisoned for 18 months, then died in 2014. Supposedly that Black Book disappeared, poof! but speculation is that the FBI or Mossad recovered it. It’s unlikely that Epstein continued to keep such a ledger as it was a dangerous loose end.
Thanks
this was quite compelling. We can only hope that trump even out of base vanity makes a better decission in the case of Palestine
I’m noticing the closer we get to Epstein and his activities, these other people are coming out of the woodwork proclaiming Trump’s honorable intentions….Menashe doesn’t impress me as strictly truthful. His “loose ends” sound like lies to me.
Unless I am mistaken, the main “loose ends” that Ari ben Menashe is referring to are all of the testimonies and evidence presented in Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial that she was effectively acting on Jeffrey Epstein’s behalf to pimp out women and underage girls to johns, resulting in her 2022 conviction on these charges that yielded a twenty-year prison sentence in what outlets from Fox News to The Daily Beast have described as a “cushy” unit at the FCI Tallahassee low-security prison. None of this comports with the notion being presented by the Justice Department that there is “no client list” (nor does the vacillation of Trump, Pam Bondi, et. al. regarding the existence of the “client list”; video footage in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in NYC with missing sections, contents that contradict the assertions of the released report, and no direct view of the prison wing with Epstein’s cell, much less the interior of the cell itself; etc.). As an aside, I am inclined to support Whitney Webb’s position as stated on the Katie Halper Show and elsewhere prior to the most recent developments in the Epstein case that there may not necessarily be a literal “client list” in the sense that certain influencers seem to believe (but that the “little black book” and a multitude of other evidence, both unclassified and hitherto classified, can still be assembled to build robust legal cases against many of Epstein’s associates, including the various powerful figures he was carrying influence with).
To summarize, it seems that Menashe is implying that these “loose ends” could undermine Trump’s effort to sweep the Epstein case under the rug, and (if Menashe’s thesis is correct) allow the likes of Netanyahu and his political allies, alongside other opponents, to unravel Trump’s alleged efforts to bring about a Middle Eastern peace deal. Of course, I suspect that any comprehensive Middle Eastern peace negotiations incorporating “no uranium enrichment in Iran” will be a non-starter, given the flagrant inconsistency with the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and, more importantly, the credibility that otherwise receptive factions within the Iranian government would risk losing with nationalist segments of their constituency and the broader Iranian population.
I wish I could understand what Ben-Menashe was saying – not without subtitles.
Well that was certainly interesting. Mr. Ben-Menashe seems to have had quite a chequered past according to his wikipedia profile:

I’m not convinced of his belief in Trump’s desire for a cease-fire. There’s so much skullduggery going on in this abominable assault on the Palestinian people and their rightful homeland. But i had to laugh at the euphemism used to describe the Epstein “parties”.
Thankyou Mr. Lauria and Ms. Vos for an “enlightening” 68 minutes.
