after capturing the palestinian men and holding them in detention at Awarta checkpoint the men are forced to show their stomachs to prove that they are not carrying explosives or other contraband. this is the same treatment they would have faced if they had proceeded through the checkpoint and not have risked crossing via the olive grove.
