Stella Assange Urges Support for Consortium News

She compared PayPal’s ban on Consortium News to that on WikiLeaks back in 2010.

Stella Assange, Julian Assange’s partner, addressing his supporters on Oct 28, during the U.S. appeal hearing in London. (Don’t Extradite Assange Campaign)

The wife of imprisoned WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange has called on the public to donate to Consortium News, which she said received the same treatment from PayPal as WikiLeaks did back in 2010.  Like WikiLeaks, which later had the ban reversed, PayPal has shut down Consortium News‘ account.  Stella Assange also called for support for Mint Press News, which has also been banned by PayPal.

On May 19, Stella Assange also called for Consortium News‘ support at a film screening in London.

I like the way Stella Assange thinks, “Give it Up” to those who “Keep it Lit!!!”

Key is Stella’s linking the site of the “Brothers & Sisters,” online Newspapers, Investigative Journalists, Publishers adversely affected, by the double PP’s, dastardly deed.

? Whatabout a One $top, “gift exchange,” form w/“Everybody,” that’s been banned &/or deplatformed, listed w/like options, i.e., Credit or Debit, Checking, Savings, CC, Amount, Frequency, individually & collectively VERSUS the Giver clicking on each site, to send a gift.

One, “colossal as we can give” Checkout. Everybody’s “got” to keep the lights on!

I sent a small check right after Pay Pal banned Consortium and will send another. I am an avid reader of the Consortium and other alternative news. Having people on your board who have political experience helps the readers connect as well as promoting a wide range of opinions by people who seem to value honesty and integrity in a world where censorship is at an all time high. Thank you.

I did and will again. But what chance has Julian for avoiding
extradition when the UK Home Secretary is “inextricably linked”
to Britian’s spy agency MI6? (Kit Klarenberg, “Who Controls
UK Home Secretary Prita Patel?” The Grayzone, May 18, 2022).
