A refugee in despair at a transit camp in Choucha Ras Djir, situated eight kilometres from the Tunisian border with Libya. More than 55,000 new refugees from Libya have been registered over the past ten days. Most are foreign nationals working in Libya and so the majority will travel on to their home country. Those unable to begin the trip immediately will spend a few days in the transit camp. The UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) is building a new camp to accommodate 12,000-15,000 new arrivals.
