Assange Partner Speaks Out After Threat from Judge

Julian Assange’s partner and the mother of his two children has spoken out in a video released by WikiLeaks after Judge Vanessa Baraitser threatened to make her name public.

Consortium News

The mother of Assange’s two boys speaks of meeting the WikiLeaks‘ publisher and of their relationship after Assange’s lawyers first tried to protect her and their sons from harm.  In the 11-minute video, released by WikiLeaks late on Saturday night, his partner explains how attempts were made to steal the DNA of one their children.

On the video she identifies herself as Stella Morris and their children are Gabriel and Max. At Assange’s case management hearing last week, Judge Vanessa Baraitser ruled that there was no reason not to reveal her identity, despite threats made to her and the children. In releasing the video on the first anniversary of Assange’s arrest in the Ecuador Embassy in London, WikiLeaks has one-upped Baraitser, neutralizing her questionable tactic.

After watching the very telling video I had another thought: Ha! He multiplied; so put that thought in your tea Vanessa Baraitser. You can lock him up but there’s another generation in the offing.

Your treatment of him just makes your whole rotten government look bad, including Queenie, who said she can’t get involved in politics.

Assange is an inspiration and hero to us; the more you mistreat him the more you demonstrate the British government is just as savage as when it was an empire. Even more degrading, this is being done at the behest of a former colony. How does it feel to be so servile?

      @John Drake,

      well said!

‘Queenie’ says, she can’t get involved in politics confirming what we all know that Julien Assange is a political prisoner. But political prisoners should not be extradited! What a rotten state Britain has become. The whole plot is absolutely disgusting and not a single one of the officials seems to be ashamed. What do they think will be their blood money?

Thank you, Stella for speaking out. I admire you strength. You and your children must be a great help for Julian. This is good to know. Stay strong and healthy, Julian and Stella!

My heart goes out to Stella. She is right–the world has failed Julian and it leaves me in despair many days. It’s good to know he has a strong and loving partner supporting him.

Democracy in uk and US is history. We have the same political set up. In the US, the new POTUS takes a seat in the ‘ permanent government ‘ , but has very little power. The Electorate are offered the illusion of choice, depending on which color they like best, blue or red. Whichever party gets in will NOT do much if any of the things promised. 4 years later said president leaves office and the permanent government sit tight and wait for the next joker to come along. If the next joker tries to be funny or even serious, like JFK, he ends up like JFK did. Since Kennedy ALL POTUS’s have slotted in like a hand in a glove. That’s what the Empire wants. They didn’t want Trump because he had his own money and was not their choice, Crooked Hillary was. Trump put up some resistance but after a while folded and played ball. The same situation in UK. The chances of this changing in our lifetime is virtually nil. The parasite in the system is too strong, it’s placemen in EVERY key position. Possibly the only chance we the 99% have is for the Empire to make a mistake, take on the World without its Shabbos Goyim
( Britain and France ) and lose. The Empire knows it cannot let time go by because when the Belt and Road initiative gets going the Asian block of Russia , India and China will slowly surpass the US and come to dominate the entire World in trade and of course militarily. The Empire will DO ANYTHING or cause any event to happen to safeguard the Empire and it financial system etc. If it loses , the leaders of the Empire know full well that this time around there is nowhere to go.

The trial of Julian Assange in UK is NO trial at all it’s a MEDIA procedure by US & UK criminals to find an innocent journalist guilty of publishing the TRUTH about US & UK atrocities in the Middle East. Proof again that LIES & Media are STRONGER than the Constitution & LAWS when politics are involved. The prosecution of a journalist like Julian Assange also proves that DEMOCRACY is down the drain.

On top of the facts of all Julian Assange (and his family) have been made to suffer, not one of those in the US helicopter gunship (whose names are known to the US Government) who murdered a dozen Iraqi civilians, including two journalists working for Reuters, and wounded others (including two children and others who had come to assist the wounded) – none of those who recorded their own crime were even charged with anything.

    • Eduardo Cohen
      April 13, 2020 at 23:28

In the video from the helicopter the shooters observe some AK-47s being carried. I saw two. There may have been a third. None were raised to a firing position. They also mention an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade launcher) which I could not see. It may have been a camera. In Iraq, as in most war zones, journalists routinely travel with at least one or two armed guards for protection. There were clearly no threatening movements or behavior by anyone on the ground. The people in the van were clearly attempting to assist the wounded. The person run over by a military vehicle referred to as “a body” could have been someone who was alive and wounded. At least one of the soldiers in the helicopter laughed about that. – Eduardo Cohen (US Army, Vietnam)

Threatening and/or endangering someone’s family, that is something organized crime does, and the CIA ,which is about the same. Of course Britain’s empire was an ongoing criminal enterprise itself. So there is precedent and tradition even while they hold themselves up to be so proper.

For judge to deliberately endanger innocent people is a crime itself. She needs to be disbarred.

  10. April 13, 2020 at 15:25

The judge truly is a horror, resembling something from the times of Reformation, with all its wars and civil disturbances.

But then this is modern Tory Britain, the Britain of the absurdly evil and unjust Skripal Affair.

There is appears to be no limit on how low someone serving the American empire will sink.

      April 13, 2020 at 17:53

I’m not up on British politics. But you say this is due to the Tories, and Labour is innocent?

I thought war criminal Tony Blair was Labour?

Was Labour in charge at any point in which Assange was in asylum? Obviously not I guess since you say this is a result of “Tory Britain”.

Tory David Cameron was prime minister from 2010 to 2016 and Tory Theresa May followed from 2016 to 2019, including the time Assange was arrested. Tories were in power during Assange’s entire time in the embassy.

      I agree. Jane Christ

I have had my own bad experience with the American judicial system. A friend who was professor of law in America told me that both the English and American justice systems are based on “precedent* and not just what the law says. A judge can make a decision based on what another judge has decided and not based on just the law in question.
Law in Continental Europe and in Switzerland in particular follows the exact interpretation of the law as written. It is not therefore so easily politisized as in The U.K. and the U.S.A.

That judge Vanessa Baraitser is some piece of work .Especially since one of the charges by the US is endangerment to military personnel in the charges against Assange due to what he exposed.
So the endangerment of Ms. Stella Morris and their children are Gabriel and Max is irrelevant in her non-judicial eyes but the charge in the US is.
It is reported that there were threats to Stella Morris .
Pure madness .We do live in Orwellian times.

Assange has been punished by Obama, Blair, Clintons, and similar mega war criminals. The imprisonment of Assange has exposed both the UK parliament and the American Congress as the nests of thoroughly corrupt opportunists and profiteers.

Easter is a good time to remind the world about the passions of Assange and about the enemies of humanity Blairs, Obamas, Clintons, Cheneys, and their ‘junior partners’ Arbuthnots, Pompeo, Barr and similar X-tians of satanist persuasion.

“A judge [Vanessa Baraitser] has refused to grant legal anonymity to Julian Assange’s partner after hearing claims the US had tried to obtain their children’s DNA.” — All one needs to know about the UK Injustice System.

All that we can do, that i can do, at this time is to continue to keep the issue alive and to respond to false claims when we see them. As Julian said, this is not a direct quote, When we see injustice and do not act, we train ourselves to be passive, to be unable to act when we need to do so for ourselves. And, what he didn’t say, we become part of the oppression.

Compare the lies by corporate media about Wikileaks and Assange and how they promote the Bill Browder fairy tale about Magnitsky.

Magnitsky was an accountant cooking the books on behalf of convicted tax fraud, kleptocrat and Integrity Initiative inner core member Bill Browder.

Post mortem they “adjust” the facts to present Magnitsky to the public as a whistleblower and victim of the evil Russian Empire.

Browder has skin in the game. He is a cog in the propaganda machine, just like Bellingcat, OCCRP and various other “investigative journalists”, paid by USAID, NED, Omidyar, Soros, etc.

Wikileaks has a perfect track record for publishing authentic documents that expose crimes and lies. Julian Assange is paying the price for exposing powerful people.

Bill Browder, Eliott Higgins, Paul Radu and their various friends have a perfect track record for inaccurate reporting, lies and propaganda. From staged chemical attacks in Douma to the downing of MH17 by the Ukrainian army, from tax fraud in Kalmykia to evidence free insinuations of criminal wrongdoing by friends and family of political opponents. They get prizes from the Empire for their “journalism” and their quest for “human rights” and “democracy”. Sad.

    Free Assange!

If there is no Swedish case or never was a legitimate case how on earth can Assange be guilty of skipping bail. I really feel his lawyers haven’t pushed hard enough nullifying the skipping bail charge. With no charge then bail becomes null and void so can’t be referenced for keeping him in jail

    • Consortiumnews.com

Assange is no longer serving the sentence for skipping bail. He is now being held on remand pending the US extradition request. Assange was never charged for any crime in Sweden, he was extradited to Sweden for questioning, and after he lost his appeal to the British Supreme Court Assange received asylum in the Ecuador Embassy.

Its a crying shame that we haven’t heard a peep from the government of the country that Julian Assange calls home. Where is the conscience of the cabal in Canberra? Oh don’t tell me …a govt that long ago lost its moral bearings, where dissent is suppressed, yet has the gall to lecture China and Venezuela on human rights, a govt that incarcerates asylum seekers in contravention of all International conventions,a govt that cheated the newly independent country of East Timor with unequal treaties, and persecuting attorneys who dared to speak out against that injustice, a PM who plays to the gallery displaying his Christian evangelical leanings at the Hillsong Church to win votes just before elections and at the White House reception, yet denies basic christian values of justice and fairness to Assange who was doing no more than doing his professional responsibility of uncovering excesses of unaccountable governments in the US and the UK, a Judiciary that works hand in glove with this govt to overlook Child abuses by a Cardinal of the Catholic where two ex-PMs weigh in on the side of abuse ….Morality ??? That word does not exist in their lexicon…the shameless cabal that calls themselves the Govt of Australia.

    • Jan Markby

Dear Haider, You are so correct. I emigrated to Australia in the 60’s and have watched the decline in so called Aussie values since the Vietnam war that Australia should never have been a part of. The total destruction of our democratic system was wrought when little Jack boot Johnny Howard came to power. We have descended further and further ever since. Once proud to call Australia home I am now ashamed. The way our government has treated Julian is appalling as is the way they treat victims of pedophilia, domestic violence and whistle blowers. We have descended into a Theocratic Corporation. No longer a Sovereign Democratic country.

How tragic that the real heroes that expose the crimes of the powerful elite, is destroyed by the corrupt rule of law. Representative democracies are using barbarism to support piracy because they represent capital and are designed that way.

Julian and Stella have attempted a straight on assault. Evolution is accelerating at an accelerating rate. The people need to make there own way now. The soil is eroding away to build up secret capitalist bank accounts with electronic digits stored in computers on secret islands.

An electronic constituent assembly with no leaders or stars may be able to focus humanity on a way of life that is more fun. We are accelerating and might succeed by side stepping around capitalist military police states. Leave them be. Concentrate on how life might be without barbaric government oppression. How will we do it? How do we make life more fun?

A powerful and moving statement by Julian Assange’s partner. Obviously she is in fear for his life with good reason: there were reports that he could not attend the latest court hearing because he was “unwell,” languishing in a prison infested with COVID-19. The vicious treatment of Assange by the British authorities, working for the US, is hard to fathom. And yet it continues with little attention from the mainstream press that once fed off his courageous revelations. A tragedy in the making.

Teaching the world to tell the truth is not an easy task. We have seen this before, you can try and bury it, mock it, deny it! But there it is staring at you. The truth has risen again today.

Assange is a hero, and his detractors are miserable excuses of humanity.

That judge has broken international law and made threats toward the innocents. It’s time to go after her with ruthless aggression. This false judge who supports war, murder, greed, slavery, like those who she works with, is a threat to society and she must be dealt with swiftly.

Thank you. I can only hope that truth and justice prevail over the criminals that seem to have infested our legal and government systems. As for our mainstream media, I have nothing but the lowest of low contempt for them.

Disgusting Englander justice system run by contemptible judges. What else would you expect from an institution that behaves as a pack of wolves. Stella is a champion and the judge a craven fraud. Free Julian Assange.

Stella shows great resolve and humanity in facing the incredible forces intent on destroying Assange, using the most barbaric tactics. The silence of all of our elected officials, and the hypocrisy of the media outlets that used and profited from the work of WikiLeaks are stunning. Thanks for publishing this!
