Liked Mark Sleboda’s summary as “Turkey invading the American invasion of Syria”. Also his obvious take that the Pentagon-backed Kurds are fighting the CIA-backed “31 flavor” jihadists (Al Nusra, ISIL, etc.) You can tell Establishment “adults in the room” are involved when huge amounts of money are being wasted on both sides just to keep the conflicts going.

Thousands of young American soldiers, sll eager for booze and sex, will NOT win the hearts and minds of ordinary Saudis, any more than in Japan, Korea, Phillipines, Thailand, etc.

I am not sure The despots are independent Its the supporters of Petro dollar that wanted to overthrow syria govt because of Oil/Gas pipeline from saudi arabia/Qatar all the way to turkey to compete with russia gas supplies and to protect the petro-dollar…since syria allied itself with USSR/Russia( presently) Overthrowing of Assad will not happen and if they want to go for suicide option WW3.

Bernie Sanders and his physicians should have done a complete cardio work up on him a few years ago.

God knows he has the best medical coverage being a U.S. Senator!

Had he had an angiogram as a routine preventative measure for his age and activity level they would have discovered the blocked coronary artery and would have placed a stent so he wouldn’t HAVE a “heart attack” in the middle of a presidential election! D’Oh!!

Seriously! What kind of physicians do they have on the Senate Health Care Plan?

I am just a retired R.N. and I would have suggested this to Sanders years ago.

Now, stent or no stent, he is running with the major negative of “had a recent heart attack” next to his name.

This was all preventable and his primary physicians should be ashamed.

I see the American main stream media has started wringing its hands for the Syrian Kurds who are being blown to pieces and having their lives and homes destroyed. Curious, the main stream media was silent when the US air force was in the process of destroying Raqqa killing thousands of civilians, men women and children. At one time, in Syria, the US was killing more civilians than ISIS, the Russians and the Syrian army combined.

Please talk about Obama ‘s repeal of the Smith Mundt Propaganda Ban as part of the 2013 NDAA. From shortly after WW2 until then it was illegal for our government to lie to its own citizens. However since the repeal, mainstream media is a now a legal weapon against the American people. The business model and role of media is no longer as a watchdog exposing government wrongdoing. Its new role is Pentagon stenographer, selling war to the American people. Please cover this subject. Most people are unaware of this major change to the role of the press. We also used to have something called equal time, where both points of view had to be aired on the same programing. Ronald Regan repealed that. And in 1996 Bill Clinton’s Telecommuniations Act deregulated media, which allowed consolidation of ownership of Print TV, Radio, so that today three corporations own it all.

The US Department of Defense has announced the deployment of thousands of additional troops to increase ‘defence of Saudi Arabia’. Attacks on oil installations: the US will deploy thousands of troops to Saudi Arabia.
