Thank you so much for all your shows, I haven’t missed one and don’t plan on changing that at all, so by all means please don’t think of this not as criticism, because it isn’t, it is a wish and tho I too listen to a good bit of it over and over in order to better understand but if it came to a choice I’d take a transcript over a better audio.Hands down.

Now I don’t know anything about the costs or difficulty in having transcripts, so I keep that in mind and maybe CN has thought about already and has good reason on why it isn’t being done but if/when it did happen everyone could know every word that was spoken. Which also makes quoting from the show almost impossible if your concern is about accuracy.

Anyway thank you all for all you do.

So very true of Whitney’s last statement. If the American people are not outraged enough to demand a proper and further investigation and more importantly ,the exposure of this so very ugly affair ,then this will keep going on and the guilt of pedophilia on our children will be on their watch .

Donald Barr (William Barr’s father) may not have hired Jeffrey Epstein to teach calculus at the Dalton School in New York.

Barr had left at the end of the spring semester 1974, after a conflict with the board of directors. Epstein did not start teaching at the school until fall 1974.

So reporting as fact that Barr Sr. hired Epstein is misleading. I could be that he did. And it could be that the school was disorganized over the summer of 1974, given the sudden departure of the director, and just hired someone who knew calculus really well. (Not having a college degree, and not working toward one, should of course have disqualified Epstein.)

The book that Whitney Webb was trying to remember was “Compromised: Clinton, Bush and the CIA” by Terry Reed with John Cummings. The argument (followed by a sweetener) between Barr and Clinton is recounted here… https://auribusarrectis.wordpress.com/2019/05/15/revisiting-the-new-covenant/

Amazing Polly discusses this time frame in detail in one of her videos.
I believe that her conclusion, from reading a number of Dalton school publications, was that it was likely that Barr Sr. did hire Epstein.

Her vid is worth watching for it broader discussion of some of the characters connected with Dalton School at this time.

Would like to recommend this 2 part interview with Papadoupoulos by Mark Steyn. It pretty well indicates the set-up run on Pap. by US agents, including Mifsud.

The scheme seems to have been dangle-excite-entrap-frame.

It’s an enjoyable exchange, with Papadoupoulos credible and lucid.

Sorry. Mistake. I meant this post to reply to Marko’s comment below on Joseph Mifsud–

Thanks. I’ll check it out. Michael Tracey also did a nice interview of Papadopoulos :

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjGLCCP_lPg

It’s been apparent all along to me that they were attempting to ensnare Papadoupoulos with the Mifsud gambit , but the recent interview with John Solomon is the first time I’ve heard that there’s deposition testimony , from Mifsud’s own lawyer no less , that actually details the scheme.

  14. Marko
    August 18, 2019 at 18:23

OT , but an important update. This drives the decisive nail into the coffin of the Russiagate hoax , or coup attempt , if you prefer. It was a set-up from the get-go :

“John Solomon: Joseph Mifsud’s Attorney Confirms Mifsud worked for US Intel and Not Russia” (4 min. video)

Maria Bartiromo: We know that there were informants thrown at certain Trump campaign people, like George Papadopoulos. George Papadopoulos was on this show and he told me directly on this show that Mifsud was the guy they wanted him to meet in Italy… That is the individual who told him that Russia has emails on Hillary Clinton. Why is that important, John?

John Solomon: Well, I interviewed Mr. Mifsud’s lawyer the other day, Stefan Rowe, and he told me and also provided me some deposition evidence to both Congress and myself that his client was being directed and long worked with Western intelligence. And he was being directed specifically, he was asked to connect George Papadopoulos to Russia, meaning it was an operation, some form of intelligence operation. That was the lawyer’s own words for this. If that’s the case that means the flash point the started the whole investigation was in fact manufactured from the beginning.

Question: How can you talk about the Iran-Contra scandal and the Franklin savings and loan coverup without talking about H.W. Bush? He was the president after all – even during the Reagan years! Robert Parry provided significant evidence that it was H.W. Bush who secretly met with the Iranian mullahs to prevent the release of American hostages in Tehran in order to discredit Carter’s bid for re-election.

Also, the word to describe Epstein’s inexplicable monetary career is bagman.

I think that both this commentator and the one below should publicly retract their plagiarism etc. allegations against Ms. Webb, after my second review of her interview shows the following analytical results.
    1. Within the first minutes of her interview, Webb mentions the following sources: Nigel Rosser, Vicky Ward, Gordon Thomas, Victor Ostrovsky and Marc Dylan.
    2. References such as ‘press coverage’ and ‘theories going around’ would be highly appropriate to the current context.
    3. References to other principals and/or codefendants, such as ‘According to Hoffenberg’ who was co-implicated in the Tower Records collapse, are basically to the public knowledge base.
    4. That ‘some people have looked at’ Epstein’s weird form of medical philanthropy as [fill in their theories], including such MSN as the Daily Beast and NYT, tend to be about rationales for underreporting and/or concealing details dear to respective sources.
    5. Ditto, RE ‘Some people have said that’ Leslie Wexner’s amazing gift of a (bugged!) townhouse to Epstein went underreported due to the longstanding influence of Roy Cohn’s lineage of child-sex blackmailing powers, which just might implicate some other powerful people…. Enough said?
    6. That ‘It’s hard to reference all this in an interview,’ vis-à-vis what Arkansas operative ‘Terry Reid said later,’ namely that there are ‘plenty of reports linking the [Iran/Contra] drug monies to the Clintons, was followed by ‘I’d have to look it up…It’s in a book,’ and ‘I’ll send it to you.’ Hardly a concealment of sources.
In sum, Ms. Webb has a totally clean bill of health, IMHO. Whereas the (above and below) innuendo to the contrary has none. So, retract!

I found this link from the Ryan Dawson suggestion below:

      https://galacticconnection.com/ryan-dawson-epstein-crime-map-updated-video/

Journalists rarely cite their sources formally the way academics must, but Whitney would be wise to acknowledge this guy’s work (or whoever it might have been) at some point…

    • August 18, 2019 at 03:44

Just caught the last 2 hours. MOST telling that the Clintons come back (via Whitney interview) as not just the latest sexual peccadillo character(s) but going way back to the Iran-Contra days, with Bill as Ed Casey’s ‘fair-haired boy’ on the hardware side AND Hillary on the legal side, simultaneously. And Roy Cohn having had such a huge influence on the structural side, to this day. While the sexual blackmail networks were almost like competing stand-ins for the intelligence agencies, with the FBI Team having an edge over the CIA (e.g.!), it does make the final legal fallout for any serious Epstein investigation problematic, if cynicism is warranted as to there BEING any such finality. But I’m beginning to repeat content here, without the research due to all of this week’s participants! 1 minor suggestion, that Elizabeth turn up her mic a notch. (Congrats btw for surviving the DISOBEDIENT era!) Many thanks to all!

    • hetro
      August 19, 2019 at 19:22

It’s mysterious to me how the Clintons are getting off with sleazy as a major category to fault them with, falling just short of criminal. What are the results of the ongoing investigation, what is happening, what progress.

Now, additional to accusations linked to Epstein in terms of abusive behavior with underage victims (for both Clintons), we have remaining:

      1) results of Clinton Foundation violations of the law, in terms of, to put it bluntly, influence peddling;

      2) her role in subverting the nomination process chiefly to dis-rail Sanders;

      3) her role in promulgating the Russia-gate hoax, meaning her part in designing and financing it, if any.

Cause for investigation here particularly due the prominent role of Crowdstrike, DNC intelligence arm, strongly under the influence of Hillary, plus bearing a heavy burden of biases and antagonisms (staff from the Kiev side of the Ukraine) directed at the Kremlin and Putin.

Crowdstrike in turn was feeding its intelligence to an obedient FBI, and an eager John Brennan.

What an astounding journalist!! I knew she could write complicated & extensively documented expose`s on various topics from following her work at MPN, but who knew she can carry it all around in her head? Damn!! That said, is there any evidence other than from the ‘official sources’ that the body under discussion is actually that of Epstein? Is it possible that he was spirited out of jail before the ‘suicide’ and is current ensconced elsewhere. After all, it only seems logical that a man in his position, knowing the risks associated with the company he kept, would have kept incriminating information somewhere with a ‘To Be Opened In Case of My Death’ letter used to insure that he was kept safe.

Wow. Whitney Webb is an information fire-hose. I have to slow it down to .75x to take it all in. She’s like George Webb in this regard , except that Whitney makes sense and seems legit , while George mostly spouts word salad , and seems to have an agenda that extends beyond truth-telling .

I doubt the two Webbs are related. I can see Whitney being related to Gary Webb , but to George? Nah.

How about Webb of Jim Collage? by Mystic Moods Orchestra… https://youtu.be/_frFTX5ltvw

Seriously though, George Webb has been looking into the Columbus OH angle, which Bob Fitrakis had covered in the ’90s in the local press. Whitney does touch upon this, re: Wexner’s mob connections, but something she doesn’t mention (here at least) is Wexner’s plans (with Epstein’s assistance) to help relocate Southern Air Transport from Miami to Rickenbacker AFB (just south of C’bus) in the ’90s, to which he would transport god knows what from Hong Kong to C’bus. That deal fell through however before it could get going, when SAT went bankrupt the same day the CIA issued it’s inspector general report admitting SAT’s involvement w/ drug trafficking – that report by the way came in the wake of Gary Webb’s Dark Alliance series… And so the “Webbs” come full circle!

The Fitrakis articles in Columbus Alive are “The Shapiro Murder File” and “Spook Air” and then this followup early in 2001, “Wexner’s royal connection,” republished here… http://columbusfreepress.com/article/wexners-royal-connection -Holy cow, I’m just now reading the latter; it is rich w/ leads, though written before the pedo angle was known.

Hi you two, Joe and Elizabeth. I can’t say enough wondrous things about your program today. The Whitney Webb interview was riveting and complex in its characters’ twists and turns. I am definitely now a big fan of this brilliant young journalist. I also want to say that I thank you very much for clarifying and reiterating that Jeffrey Epstein was indeed a pedophile and sex offender from your esteemed points of view! Unfortunately, there have been several commenters on these Epstein articles who seem to want to obscure this fact, simply because he was abusing teenagers. They have argued about the ages of consent in various countries, and various states in the U.S.A. and even how things were viewed in the Middle Ages in regards to whether he could be called a pedophile. Calling these children “adults” is ludicrous. They were vulnerable, often poor children who these miscreants took advantage of. It is ghastly to me that there are people who would argue otherwise. Shame on them. Thank you for setting the record straight on this awful human being’s actions with children. Joe and Elizabeth, I greatly admire what you bring us each week. Thank you most kindly.

Sound quality is an issue for me in the first two segments, but, following these, Joe and Elizabeth, and George, were helpful in reviewing what was said, and highlighting what was important.

Whitney Webb was clear throughout, also credible and wide-ranging, plus careful to qualify possible theories.

(I would however recommend abandoning the phrase “I mis-spoke.” The language should be: “I was wrong.” Or “I made a mistake.” The phrase “mis-spoke” has a smarmy excuse-making feeling to it.)

Today’s ZH reports that 2/3rds of the US public do not believe the official story of Epstein’s death. First, I put aside speculations he didn’t die for several reasons.

There is imagery of him on a gurney. The likelihood of enhancing a “suicide” story by substituting (or pretending) there was another corpse is a step too far, in my view, for the autopsy agency involved. Most important if Epstein is still alive he’s still a danger to the Establishment, whereas, as today’s program indicated, that Establishment WAS in danger (and remains in danger) from what he knew.

That he was murdered is much more likely for numerous reasons we’re all familiar with, as to the difficulty he would have had in killing himself with paper thin bed sheets etc etc.

For me, the program ended on the most important point of the broadcast. Evidence is growing that Epstein is the tip of the iceberg in terms of government and intelligence agency corruption over many decades.

If Epstein’s death is more reasonably assumed as murder, once again Cover-Up-Number-Whatever is underway with yet another “official story.”

We are close to disbelief in ANYTHING coming out of the government. Will it all fade under the covers or accumulate to more and more cynicism and awakening?

    • August 19, 2019 at 10:19

The image of him on a gurney has been discredited. The nose and the ear do not match his. There is no sign of feet.

Watched the replay and have seen every episode. Please allow me my only critical comment on these shows. It is not a critique that is exclusive to CN Live. What is accepted on the internet for video quality has quietly overtaken the previous usage of film. As time has moved on, we have all accepted it. Celluloid film is still seen in special theatres and certain cinematographers, also home use. That said, my real complaint is with the rampant poor audio quality all over the internet. Last weeks Mark Davis video was great although the audio quality made it very difficult to catch and understand every sentence. I’ve listened twice now; I love what he has shown us, just wish I knew every point he was making as it is somewhat tough to make out. Lastly, this is certainly not a knock against Cathy Vogan, as I can tell she works very hard with the limitation of the equipment.

If you guys want to be accepted as “professional” in this day and age of video, you need to pay attention to the audio that gets broadcasted. You need a good “soundman” if you’re doing it “live”. Mary was almost drowned out, and although Mark’s was better, it still needs improvement. Content matters more than anything, but people have to be able to HEAR it without trying to black out the back round noise from their minds. I think you guys are doing the most important journalism for the world at this point. I’m just saying that you need some better “Techies” on your production team. That said, I am seeing overall improvement from week to week.

      • Joe Lauria
        August 19, 2019 at 22:50

Skip Scott…we are not trying to be “professional” we have decades of professional experience behind this production. Those two videos were not live. And it was already explained that it was shot in a noisy pub and our expert sound person reduced the background noise as best as possible . The videos were too important not to show, despite the sound quality. That was the right editorial decision. Look at any major network and if deemed newsworthy they will broadcast a clip even if the sound or video quality is inferior.

        August 21, 2019 at 01:59

CN – It was clear that the event was noisy. What was not clear was the audio coming from the speaker Mark Davis. This issue also sometimes occurs on the pc mics that are on some of the computers used. I have spent countless hours listening to various recordings of all nature and live events working with them and can tell you the audio I am referring to here is difficult to make out every single word.

      • Skip Scott
        August 29, 2019 at 10:11

        Joe-

I have been traveling, so I have not seen this until now. I apologize to your sound man if indeed that was the best that could be done with the audio. They were both very important speakers, and their message needed to be heard. Maybe it would be a good idea under such circumstances to provide a written transcript of their speeches here at CN to go along with the video. Maybe my hearing isn’t what it used to be, but I found it very frustrating attempting to make out their words from the back round noise.

Why couldn’t I watch cn LIVE Episode 6 past 22 minutes in? No problem in the past. Was this universal or was it just my computer service? Where can I pick it. up?

The video is stopping at 20:29. I don’t know if it’s my computer or there is a technical problem. You’ve probably already heard this if it’s a tech issue! Great line up!!!
