Just now finished listening to the podcast version, While I am glad Perry’s words are getting out there into a more mainstream media venue, it’s small potatoes for a guy like me who hasn’t tuned into NPR in ages due in part, ironically, to Perry himself who has shown me time and again how NPR is full of it.

One thing that bothered me was how Perry said how he’d get a story and send it “upstairs” for the bosses to review and then they’d reject his story. Why they’d reject it Perry doesn’t say. Who was telling them not to release it?

And what was with Perry saying over and over that his stories weren’t “conspiracy theories?” Like conspiracy theories, yuck! Yes they are. Iran Contra, etc., certainly were conspiracies. And so was 9/11. Too bad Perry won’t touch that angle. He is as cagey as the guys “upstairs” who wouldn’t publish his deepest exposes.

I cannot stop thinking about the interview with Mr. Parry. This story has it all and it brought our country to its knees. Thank you for your passion.

    CONGRATULATIONS, BOB!

I just listened to the entire interview plus the 11-minute acceptance speech. Totally concur with a couple members of the audience who called it the “best talk ever.” A MUST WATCH!

Congratulations Robert Parry. I just visited the npr site and listened to the interview, it was excellent probably the best thing on npr for years. It makes one so happy to see and hear the truth spread widely. Thanks Robert Parry for your honesty and sincerity…
Also, the commentary on that site is informative about npr and the press in general, all in all a big accomplishment for Consortium News.

The screwy schedule on our local npr affiliate is hard to figure out. On Point wasn’t on at that hour, and this leaves me to wait for the podcast version, when I will be sure to listen.

While not trying to steal anyone’s thunder, I would like to mention a talk show host who I think you all here would enjoy. Chris Moore airs between 4:00 & 9:00 pm, a Sunday radio talk show, on KDKA 1020am. You could stream this on your computer. Mr Moore has had on such notable people, as Paul Craig Roberts, Webster Tarpley, and many others much like them. Although, the word liberal is used way too much, Moore brings an alternative inquiry to his microphone, which is nothing short of an oasis in talk radio land to be enjoyed, for sure. Chris, actually allows callers in to speak their mind, and finish their thought, like no other radio talk show host I can think of does. Chris Moore on more than one occasion has supportively referenced Robert Parry consortiumnews, oh, and also Chris has quoted Ray McGovern, on his show at times when appropriate. Now how often have you ever heard of that happening on crazy talk radio? I think callers call 1-866-391-1020, I think. Listen to the show to verify that number, but by all means listen to Chris Moore, if you can. It would be really great if Robert Parry or Ray McGovern were a guest of Mr Moore’s. Hint, hint.

Now, I will search out the ‘On Point’ broadcast, and have a listen to Mr Parry…you go Bob!

Joe Tedesky… Well I listened to Robert Parry on NPR this morning at 8 AM PST which was 11 AM in Boston. It was a good interview and I think this is the interview that you can play here:

Thank you Joe L. I really mean that.

Mr Parry should post links to his interviews. I really did enjoy listening to him. Having lived through the years Robert Parry spoke about, brought back many a memory. What drew me to this site, was Mr. Parry’s history articles. Then I started reading the new articles which appeared everyday. I then started reading all of the comments, and found out how much more these commenters were an enhancement to this sites appeal. Not, long after I started writing in comments. Once again, great job on the radio, Mr. Parry, and thanks for being a great American reporter.

Joe Tedesky… You’re welcome. Actually it looks like Bob Van Noy beat me to it by a couple of minutes, obviously we were both posting around the same time. For me, I found Robert Parry and Consortium News because I knew of the lies that were told by the mainstream media about Iraq which led to that illegal invasion and the deaths of a 1/2 Million to 1 Million people. I also now try to go out of my way to get the other side of the story from other media outlets outside of the western media. These include RT, Telesur from South America, Press TV from Iran, Al Jazeera, and then also Democracy Now! along with some stories from The Intercept etc. I think, as Robert Parry discussed in the interview, it is very difficult today to trust the news and people need to go out of their way to investigate any given story because there is so much misinformation and propaganda. I just want the truth without agenda or bias.

The NPR interview was captivating. I just finished listening to it. Now that we have spent 5 million on the Benghazi contrived controversy could we maybe spend another 5 million on this story – which has much more intrigue and criminal behavior on the part of an American executive administration?

    CONGRATULATIONS, ROBERT

…and thanks for making silk purses out of the many sow-sears-like drafts I send you.

I am listening to Robert Parry on NPR right now. Also, thanks to you Ray for “telling us like it is” in your articles and interviews that you have done. I find, with your background, it is very insightful to read what both yourself, Robert Parry, and many contributors on Consortium News have to say on what is truly happening in the world today outside of the MSM.

      Cheers.
