How Iranians React to Threats

July 7, 2008

Trita Parsi, an Iranian-born author and foreign-policy expert, comments on how Iranians are reacting to international hostility toward their nuclear program, including recurring threats of military attack from Israel and the United States.

Parsi was born in Iran and grew up in Sweden. He earned a Master's Degree in International Relations at Uppsala University, a second Master's Degree in Economics at Stockholm School of Economics and a PhD in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University SAIS.

He has served as an advisor to Congressman Bob Ney, R-Ohio, on Middle East issues and is a co-founder and current President of the National Iranian American Council. He is the author of Treacherous Alliance - The Secret Dealings of Iran, Israel and the United States (Yale University Press, 2007). is an independent news network that produces stories of global interest.
